Excellent Dapol repair service, including having no hesitation in taking the item back when I raised a concern and having enough tact to subtly point out that the problem was “user error” and not the repair!

Just bought a grade 1 n gauge Dapol A4 Mallard from DCC Supplies for a great price and I'm delighted with it. Pristine condition. Runs smoothly in both directions, no wobble! Fast, efficient service. I'm a very happy customer.

Bought a B grade refurbished tank …
Bought a B grade refurbished tank engine which I was told will run but shows signs of use... Expected from a b grade. Got it home tested and the train stuttered (not good enough). As I'm local I went back to be told for the first time these are sold as seen and nothing they could do no swap no refund etc. I pestered and was able to get a grade A one and pay the extra, as this was my only option to get shot of the faulty (imo) one i had to do that. Man in the shop was nice but had to keep going back in to check what he could and could not do. Very disappointed and will be shopping else where in future. Also will not be buying dapol again.
Addition. The grade A one has now shorted out and does not work either. If they are the warranty repairers for dapol I would not trust any of their repairs as I maybe incorrectly but assume their graded items have had them look at it.

Superb service - Excellent delivery
Many model railway shops have left me with the feeling that they just want my money, but when I spoke with these people today, they offered excellent unbiased advice, a friendly conversation, AND delivered my order the next day, despite it being 4:30pm when I phoned!
I would recommend them for friendly expert advice, and professional service.
