Smooth and clean performance, Top notch support.

The Deep charts platform performs clean and smooth, with everything customizable for the trader's own sake and personal preference while operating. It is easy to understand and figure out.

Their customer service is top notch. There has been 2 times when I have run into minor issues with the platform, and they have been there very quickly and very kindly to support me with my issues, solving them within minutes.

This is definitely the high-end option for traders looking to have the best tools to trade with in the market.

Unreliable

I’ve been using the platform for around 4 months now, and honestly it’s full of bugs, so you need to be very careful.

When I first installed it, he connected my Interactive Brokers account and everything worked normally. Later on, the connection stopped working and I had to wait almost 6 weeks for them to fix it.

Yesterday I passed an Apex eval through DeepCharts by 1 PM. Normally, he links the TP to the same trade, so once the trade closes, the TP order gets removed automatically. But this time he accidentally left the TP active as a new entry order. Around 3 PM it triggered another trade by mistake and blew my already passed eval.

The problem is they are constantly “improving” the platform, but almost every update seems to break something else. Right now it honestly feels like users who are paying for it are basically guinea pigs testing unfinished systems with real money on the line.

After experiences like this, I personally can’t trust the platform with serious capital. There are just too many technical issues and costly mistakes for something that’s supposed to handle automated trading reliably.

On the order you mentioned: when a position closes, a linked take-profit should be cancelled automatically — that's how OCO (order-cancels-order) handling is meant to work. On the platform, OCO can run either server-side (managed by the broker, so it holds even if the connection drops) or client-side (managed locally, which depends on the platform and connection staying active); the difference is explained here: Difference Between Client-side and Server-Side OCO. We don't have a support case from you on this, so we haven't been able to look into it — if you reach out at support with the date and the account involved, we'll reconstruct exactly what happened and how the orders were configured on that trade, and if our handling was at fault we'll own it and correct it.

On the IB connection issue: the root cause was a change needed in the TWS API implementation, which had to go through a version update — that's now been released and the connection is fully resolved. We followed up with you directly on this, and we're glad it's behind you, though we're sorry for how long it took.

We understand your wider concern about reliability, and for anyone trading real capital it's exactly where our focus is. The platform is used every day by thousands of active traders — which is precisely why we'd like to look into your specific case properly rather than leave it unresolved.

Powerful Hardware, Disappointing Performance and Stability

I am running 64 GB of RAM and a last-generation Ryzen 9 in an HP Omen system. The machine is clean, modern, well-maintained, and connected via a stable Wi-Fi connection.

Despite this, I am experiencing numerous performance issues, delays, freezes, and crashes. Given the hardware specifications and overall system condition, I would not expect these kinds of problems.

DeepDOM didn’t really resonate with me. I’m also not a big fan of how the functionality is split across separate products within the Deepcharts ecosystem. If you want access to both the Footprint/Volume Profile tools and the Heatmap, you need to purchase two separate packages, which increases the overall cost quite significantly.

We looked into your case. The delays, freezes and crashes you experienced traced back mostly to an issue on the side of the external provider that supplies our market data, rather than to the DeepCharts software itself — we monitor these situations and work directly with the provider to get them resolved. We also identified a couple of issues in the beta build you were running, and those are already being addressed.

On a system like yours the platform should run smoothly, so our support team would be glad to follow up with you privately, make sure everything is running well now, and take care of the remaining beta items.

One clarification on cost, since that was a concern for you: DeepDOM isn't a recurring charge — it's a one-time, lifetime add-on, so once you have it alongside a DeepChart subscription it's yours for good with nothing more to pay. And our current launch bundle actually brings the Footprint/Volume Profile tools and the Heatmap together in a single package, and it also includes a bootcamp run by three internationally recognised traders — Fabio Valentini, Enrico Stucchi and Carmine Rosato.
Our support team can walk you through the current options whenever you like.
