Poor customer service... but good machine.
Great coffee machine (our second Delonghi machine) but they're servicing and repair service is dreadful. The website stated the machine would be back with us in 10 days. Over the phone, the customer service representative said it was currently 21 days. If they were apologetic and polite, I wouldn't have minded, but they couldn't seem to have cared less.

Bought a magnifica s smart coffee machine,£430, two years ago, have had issues with it since the first week, scale light on constantly, breaks down frequently, drip tray fills all the time and floods my worktop, blockages all the time!
I sent it back and had it serviced, the scale light came on as soon as I switched it on and the drip tray issue has continued and now its leaking from the inside and I can't use it!
I contacted delonghi and they couldn't care less, the attitude of their customer service rep is unprofessional and insincere.

Great machine but disappointing service
I heard great things about the De'Longhi Riveria so I was excited to receive mine however unfortunately the ordering and delivery process was not up to the standard you expect these days.
When I had problems placing my order, it was 3-4 days before someone got back to me. My item was due to ship in 1-3 days but on the 3rd day I got a shipment delayed message with no further details. I finally got a shipment confirmation notification 6 days after my order stating I would get tracking details and an invoice within 24 hours - that didn't happen! Finally 8days after ordering I got a parcelforce notification and received part of my order, the rest arrived 2 days later. I still don't have my invoice - which is fine, I don't need one but don't say you are going to do something that you are not!
Thankfully the machine is great but customer service needs improvement.

Contacted DeLonghi by phone 18/03/26 with faulty heater, leaking oil. All details provided including a copy of the invoice. I was informed by phone that an in-warranty replacement would be sent, which was followed up by an email from the advisor. Having heard nothing I phoned again 07/04/26 and got through, eventually. The advisor told me it had been 'de-escalated', whatever that means, but no further information had been provided. He was also unable to provide the registered UK office address to serve papers for this breach of warranty.
My experience of this company is very poor. They do not seem to know what they're doing.

I ordered three bags of coffee beans, and the ordering process was very smooth. However, I later received different invoices for the order, and when the shipment arrived, only one bag was delivered. I was then informed by email that the other two bags had to be returned to the store and that I would be updated later. It has now been three weeks, and I have still not received any further information. I would say this delay for a coffee order is quite long and disappointing.
