HORRIBLE AGGRESSIVE DRIVERS

I have used delta for 30 years but im finished with them.they are rude..lazy and racist.i work at a hospital and they refuse to enter the hospital to pick up samples and patients even though it is a safe area and they are wearing masks..i have just been threatened by one of them as he had to enter the building..i will not forget them or Werherspoons.people show their true colours at times like this.I believe the hospital will be suspending theirbaccount with this company soon..

Racist Delta taxi driver

Delta taxi booking number 96151532

Tonight i got a taxi due to limited public transport during the coronavirus pandemic. Im registered for card payment but was sent a cash only taxi. I advised the taxi driver id need to stop at a cash machine and advised of two free cash machines within close proximity. Taxi driver ignored my requests and went to a cash machine which charges per transaction and said ‘you can go to this cash machine it charges but thats ok tight’ to Which i replied i refuse to pay to withdraw cash when he drove past two free cash machines which I asked him to stop at. He then proceeded to Ask about my job at a Hotel at which point he started asking about ‘foreigners who worked there’ and stipulating the ’polish are steeling our jobs’ and making racist remarks at which point I asked him to refrain as I didn't want to listen to his racist remarks and he got defensive and continued right up until I got out of the vehicle. seems delta has no feedback option and therefore i have no option as to whether id get the same driver again and therefore I wont be using Detlas service again

I HAVE USED DELTA TAXIS FOR 30 YEARS…

I HAVE USED DELTA TAXIS FOR 30 YEARS BUT I'M USING UBER OR ONE CALL TAXIS FROM NOW ON, BECAUSE THEY ARE TAKING ON DRIVERS THAT CAN HARDLY SPEAK ENGLISH, AND IV HAD 2 BLACK DRIVERS THAT WERE INCREDIBLY AGGRESSIVE, 1 OF THEM TURNED NASTY JUST BECAUSE I ASKED IF HE WAS FROM KENYA, BECAUSE THE WEEK BEFORE I HAD A LOVELY KENYAN DRIVER, HE WAS LOVELY! BUT THIS ONE GOT ALL AGGRESSIVE, RUDE AND DEVENSIVE! GOD KNOWS WHY, HE WAS SAYING DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!!! THEN HE SAID " ARE YOU CHINESE???? YES YOUR CHINESE!!" WHICH WAS WEIRD COS I'M A SCOUSE MOUSEY BLONDE WHITE WOMAN, IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT AND I WAS A BIT AFRAID, AND LAST WEEK A MIXED RACE DRIVER SAID I AM INCONSIDERATE BECAUSE I WANTED HIM TO TAKE ME HOME THE WAY I ALWAYS GO, BUT HE WANTED TO GO A DIFFERENT WAY BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT HIS CAR GOING OVER SPEEDBUMPS!!!!! Taxi arrived 25 minutes late which…

Taxi arrived 25 minutes late which caused the loss of a train ticket to Manchester Airport.
When one books a taxi at 3AM it is because it is needed at 3AM. Not almost half an hour later. There is no excuse for being late in the middle of a quiet weeknight. If there is a booking from the day before then the company knows there is a requirement to be fulfilled.
The obvious conclusion is that Delta Taxis doesn't care for customer satisfaction or even fulfilling the contracted service so I'll make sure next time not to bother with them.

Only tapped one star because I couldn’t…

Only tapped one star because I couldn’t write a review if I didn’t. Used them for a short ride and realised as soon as I got to my destination that I’d lost my purse (about 2 minutes after leaving the taxi, when I paid with money from the same purse). They told me to send an email to their lost property - about all money, cards etc that were in my purse - because they couldn’t contact the driver! He could only have been half a mile away at that point and could easily have confirmed/denied that it was in his car. Their attitude was disinterested and they only kept in touch because I badgered them. The purse contained my hard-earned money, my bank cards etc and was a present from my daughter. I am heartbroken. My advice is don’t use them because they don’t know who they are employing, can’t get in touch with their drivers and don’t give a damn about their customers.

I have to say that this company has a…

I have to say that this company has a terrible customer service on the phone.
I tried to book service today morning and I was treated by a woman on the phone absolutely poorly. No manners, impatiens, rudeness. It was around 8 or 8.30 in the morning. I advice delta's surpervising staff to check who was working there today morning, because that woman wasn't a credit to your company!
I don't know how is that possible that with this attitutes amongst your staff you are still existing on the market.
In a normally run business a customer is a reason behind every company's profit and success. The rule is simple-no customers no profit!
This have taught me a lesson to not use your service ever again.

Honest experiences....

Honest experiences..... 45 minutes wait at Lime Street station Friday afternoon ..... other taxis companies and black cabs coming and going. Following day 1 hour 5 minutes wait. I phoned on both occasions and was told I was high priority- obviously not high enough.
I booked on the app but received message on Friday saying for fast track book on line. Phoned company and asked if this made a real difference and told it does not. Something wrong there!
Let down, dissatisfied and totally disgusted. When second taxi finally came on the Saturday it was, alas, driven by the most rude condescending, and ‘I’m too good good for this job’ driver I have ever had.

Shower of muppets (which insults muppets really)

You’d think with competition from Uber that the old cab companies would up their game but not this shower

Booked a cab a week in advance for an important evening and confirmed two days before. 30 mins late and nothing no text not call nothing. Upon calling we re told they’ve been trying to get a car for us but could be any time Thanks for nothing

My daughter who is disabled was left an hour waiting on the road. She was flying out of Liverpool Airport to get home to a funeral airport. They kept telling her it will be there in a minute. Deliberate falsehoods and lies. Don’t trust this Company. Totally unprofessional😤😤😤😤

wow what an experience this crowd is…

wow what an experience this crowd is giving taxi people a bad bad name trying to take over the good firms out there. was parked in liverpool mersey retail park retail outlets on monday about 2ish and was pulling out from a disabled spot and this delta taxi deliberatley sped up to not let me out from my space i saw what he was doing and carried on and another car also came out so he had to stop. he looked very angry but didnt gesticulate because two of us had stopped him in his tracks. why deliberatley go out of your way to stop a disabled driver getting out of their spot unless your a bad tempered person generally and obviously not a very good amabassador for your company. hearing a lot of stories about this company please do not use them use black cabs, alpha or anyone else please.

Unbelievable bad!!!

Unreliable

Unreliable. Booked taxi night before to go to Lime Street Station. Next morning I waited but no taxi. Spoke with switchboard who said it had not even been accepted by a driver yet! Had to find alternative arrangements otherwise would miss my train.
Disgusted in service. Don’t use if you are not prepared to be late. If there was a ‘no stars’ option they would get it.

My son had a deep cut to his face an my husband called a delta to pick him up then pick my son up then go hospital, the idiotic driver wouldn't take him because he'd just had car cleaned he wasn't bleeding out it was a clean cut! Have a miserable life you sad fool

Incompetent operators

Swithboard staff should listen to callers when they are booking taxis, and assume there is more than one person with the same name living in the same area, instead of being so certain that they have a booking to then only realise they sent one taxi to an airport collection, instead of two!
Demanding copies of identification and threatening to return a customer to the airport because the switch operator made quite a significant mistake is hugely inappropriate and unprofessional. I would not recommend this service, completely in competent.
