Agreed opportunity to try different types of pencils and choose your colours without buying full sets. However the wooden casing on my graphite pencil is split this could mean that I loose half of the pencil when I come to sharpen . This pencil was hand picked and I feel shouldn't have been sent out

Speedy delivery of what I ordered and all various pencils were supplied correctly.

Derwent pencils are the best artist's pencils. It is great to be able to make up your own tin.
This is a great way to purchase the particular colours you want in Derwent Lightfast colour pencils. They are really good quality and work well on a gouache substrate in my mixed media paintings. I am very happy with them.
I used the build your own tin option to order watercolour pencils and select the colours I wanted. I am very pleased with the order. I have created a few art works with them and they work really well. You have to be careful with the lighter colours, such as sky blue and rose pink, as they wash away to nothing if too much water is added. However the pigment of the other colours is really good and they can be layered to create different shades.
This is a fantastic idea. You can create a series of colour pencils you use the most so easily. Love the Lightfast pencils they really are the best.
The watercolour pencils are excellent and so wonderful to use
Great to be able to customise a tin of pencils to individual requirements, if you don't need standard sets. Delivery time was good also.
Lovely tin received when I chose my own Inktense colours. Was well packaged for postage, and keeps my pencils safe and today, whether at home or travelling. Will be ordering more.

I love the fact that you can make up your own tin of colours which is just what I needed, arrived perfectly packaged, in a plain silver tin with the derwent logo embossed onto it, just perfect! I will definitely buy more products from Derwent in the near future.

The option to create my own tin of pencils was too good to pass up. It gives me the chance to replace only the coloured pencils that I wanted to, rather than buying complete tins, resulting in many duplicate pencils. Overall, in my opinion, this is excellent!
