The paint on the end of the pencils was still wet... And showed no sign of drying properly... However the excellent customer service team at Derwent went out of their way to sort it out.

I bought this as part of the 'fill your own' option for pencils. The tin itself is decent enough, one of the nicer pencil tins I've had, albeit of course rather plain, but then, it never suggests it won't be. Being able to fill up a tin with open stock pencils is a great option as many Derwent pencils are a little thicker than average so they don't fit into my usual pencil cases (which have elastic holders for each pencil.)
All arrived as ordered, alas I haven’t had chance to use them yet*, I trust that they will be up to usual Derwent standards. (*haven't tried them, so stars maybe wrong)
It was a super case to display the pencils.... Made a lovely gift more special.

nice product pleased with it ,wish it came with pencils sharpener as they are on thick side ,can not compare to other makes as they are my first set
Great idea to be able to create your own mix of colours
Derwent coloursoft pencils are smooth to use and blend well. A good range of colours to choose from and the container the tin nice and compact.
Nice storage tin and I like the way you can choose which grade of pencils you want in it.

Excellent quality
I was keen to try out the colousof t pencils and thought the tin was a good option. The pencils are amazing, very vibrant cores and they blend well.
Love that you can build your own set, selecting the colours you need. Pencils are of excellent quality and perfect for the portrait commissions I have to do, delivery was fast too, would highly recommend.
I love the ability to make a mixed tin. Great to try new pencils or replace individual colours to keep a set complete. Nice little tin too!
