I was kept informed throughout the whole process of fitting my Wheelchair Hoist. Everything was fitted , ready to go, when I picked up my new Motability Car! Very pleased.

They are just amazing! I spoke to Matthew via telephone and email for a grab handle as my dad is now disabled. He was really polite professional and friendly. My mum and wife travelled to have the part fitted and they said his wonderful the experience was albeit they travelled two hours. The staff are so friendly and kind. This company needs to get more recognition for the work they do and at such amazing prices. Would highly recommend them. Keep up the great work and thank you again.

This is the first time that I have used Des Gosling Motability, but it will not be the last, I cannot recommend them enough! We first came across them at the show in Birmingham in 2023 and were very impressed with the knowledge, friendliness and advice they gave us that we decided to make the two and a half hour car journey (twice, to try then order then to collect) to purchase our new powerchair from them! They made sure that there was absolutely NO problems…A HUGE thank you to everyone involved…we even met the boss!

This is the second under ring I’ve had fitted and I cannot praise all at Des Gosling enough. They are professional and very helpful. On the second occasion they also fitted a scooter hoist. When I first thought about getting hand controls I looked at the videos on their web-site which were extremely informative and as a result I chose Des Gosling to fit same.

I have used Des Gosling on 3 occasions to fit hoists in my cars. Always been perfectly satisfied. I just had a swivel/lift seat fitted for my wife as a passenger. She found the first one a bit uncomfortable. Went back today and they changed it for a different seat that she is now very pleased with. Thank you for your cooperation.

Had an issue with a wheelchair whilst at download. These guys at des gosling really stepped up and went out of their way to help us. Great cup of tea btw. 👍👍

WOW this company certainly go above and beyond. I have been dealing with a lovely lady over the phone named Tina. This lady should be justifiably proud of herself for her kind and friendly telephone manner. She has absolutely pulled out all the stops in helping me with my motability car adaptation needs, and has even sorted out for an engineer to visit my home to sort out the lifting eyes on my mobility scooter. Des Gosling Mobility have got themselves a real gem of an employee there. IMPRESSED

I am ecstatic. I bought a WAV car and due to my medical issues was having difficulties managing the heavy ramp. No one could help me except for DES GOSLING who fit a motor which lowers and raises the ramp for me. This firm has given an elderly lady her independence back and I am extremely grateful. As I live miles away in Hartlepool I had to pay them to collect and return my vehicle but it has been money well spent to the only firm in the United Kingdom that could help me and the service I received was excellent. Following the illness of my partner, who was now unable to lift my wheelchair into the car, this was our first foray into obtaining and fitting a hoist that would assist and enable me to retain mobility.
From initial contact to fitting, I have nothing but praise for the advice given to me by Hayley and despite being a long way from their premises, assured me this would not be an issue.
Pleased to report that all went to plan and my thanks also to Chris who, despite the weather, did an amazing job with fitting and demonstrating.

I required a hoist to lift a powered wheelchair or a standard wheelchair into the car boot. From the first enquiry the service was helpful, polite and very professional. Scott travelled for two hours to fit the hoist, which he completed most efficiently and in good time. He adapted the fittings to suit the chairs and finally explained how to use the hoist with each of the chairs. He was at all times very friendly and willing to clarify, with good humour, any points that I didn't understand. I was most impressed with the thoroughness and understanding shown from first contact to the final installation. I would definitely recommend Des Gosling Mobility and Scott to friends.
