DO NOT use in London or if you have any dietary needs
Problem #1 - there was nowhere to input my dietary needs and they sent me shrimp for dinner which I can’t have. The one I ordered says “plant based foods with lean protein” so it is not clear the food would have allergens? I couldn’t eat it and had to source my own dinner.
Problem #2 - The baffling aspect of it is that they deliver between 10 pm and 6 am and it is NOT made clear when you order (it’s apparently mentioned in an obscure part of their website under FAQs)!. I was woken up from sleep at midnight multiple times. Most other companies like Press, Lion’s Prep, Hello Fresh etc. deliver at reasonable times. I know it comes in a box that can be left outside but I live in central London in a flat so there’s nowhere outside for it to be left safely. They also don’t send you any notification on when it will come - they have some big supply chain issues to sort out and until then, would NOT recommend

Yum yum yum!
I’ve been using Detox Kitchen for a a few months now and I can’t fault the meals on offer, the quality of ingredients, the on time delivery and the customer service. I use them for lunches at work which are super convenient, and for dinners which saves me so much time after I get home from a busy day. It means I can eat clean and healthy with no worries and it’s so simple. There’s heaps to choose from so I never get bored either! The juice cleanse has also been a life saver after a few heavy weekends of eating!
I honestly can’t see myself moving away from this service… ever!!!

I currently live in Sydney, but I came back to visit friends and family in England over the Christmas period. After stuffing my face sufficiently, I wanted to treat my body to a healthy option and I was recommended Detox Kitchen by a friend. As I had limited time, I opted for the 3 day reset and I wish I was able to stay in the UK longer to make detox kitchen a regular on my shopping cycle.
The food was incredibly fresh and it felt like only quality ingredients had been chosen. I’ve used other similar services before and this one was a definite stand out. The meals themselves were delicious and I felt reenergised after the first day.
My only complaint is that I can’t get it down under!

Onto my third week of fridge fills
Onto my third week of fridge fills, really impressed by the early delivery slots and the food is delicious. Teriyaki salmon has been my fave so far. Enjoying this a lot more than other meal delivery services I have tried previously.

Overall I am enjoying the plan
Overall I am enjoying the plan however in all dishes there are things that I dislike like peppers or cabbage; this makes the meals much smaller leaving me somewhat hungry. Online menus should be better detailed.

All of our dishes have a shelf life of 3 days and all the hot dishes can be frozen. We completely appreciate that 3 days isn't a long time. However, all of our food is as fresh as can be and we do not add any preservatives!

The portions are just perfect, food is delicious. The only qualm would be that the tofu can sometimes be a little hard if not cooked.

Ultimate reset is not worth it
Last did the ultimate reset a few years ago and it was great, unfortunately this time the quality and experience is not good. The food is poor quality (a lot of carrots!), two meals so far have been inedible and I was prompted to write this review because in todays evening meal there was just a pot of plain oil, I’m not sure what should have been there, because they don’t provide a weekly menu like they used to, so you have no idea what’s turning up. Also they make you book 20 days but don’t provide weekend meals like they used to, which makes the whole thing pointless. Their fridge fills are actually good and I’m not sure why the reset doesn’t match that.

This certainly doesn't sound like our usual high standards and this will absolutely be passed onto the rest of the team. We will also reach out to you privately to discuss the pot of "oil" as that doesn't sounds right at all!
In terms of the menus, they are all available online for you to see before you purchase your plan and for the duration so you can always be prepared!
We completely understand your frustration around deliveries on weekends. This is something we haven't offered for a number of years now. However, there are always things we can do! We can always shuffle your deliveries so you receive multiple on Friday to see you through the weekend. Alternatively, we would recommend a Fridge Fill delivery on Fridays.
Alternatively, we have lots of delicious recipes on our blogs! We do find that the majority of our clients prefer to do their own thing on the weekend which was a huge driving force to only delivering Monday - Friday.

Post-surgery meal plan
I ordered the 3-day protein reset as I had surgery and wanted to come home to nutritious food that I wouldn’t have to prepare/think about and would give me strength in my recovery. Each day had everything I needed and tasted delicious and was very satisfying.

The meals were all mushed up one week. Then the next week they were delivered the night before the order and left outside all night. Not great.

Your meals certainly shouldn't have arrived damaged. I can see that we have compensated you for this but I can assure you that we are always working on ways to improve our service so we will keep working on this!
In terms of the delivery time, we deliver from 10pm the night before up until 6am the morning of your chosen delivery date. We regularly undergo testing to ensure that the dishes are all kept at the correct temperature throughout the night so they are safe to eat the next day. The ice packs and insulation in the boxes also ensure this.
