I needed a particular bed by a particular date and I was helped enormously by Paul who was incredibly helpful , kind , efficient and empathic to my needs He organised everything to fit the date and price I ideally wanted . I really like to support local businesses and this one comes very highly recommended . The service I received was impeccable - thank you Paul for taking such trouble with my order ! It is rare to find someone who is willing to do that these days and it was much appreciated .

Fair's fair. Great products, great prices, great customer care from the moment I walked in to the moment I took delivery of a new bed. I have literally no complaints and that deserves a good review. Support this local company. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice and service. Also when we checked the price against online prices they were cheaper.
Bed arrived on time and we are finding it very comfortable and it has also helped improve our sleep quality.

Adrian was so helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when my elderly Mum and I bought 2 new MLily mattresses. He organised easy delivery for $10 for one of them. We squeezed the king size mattress into a Suzuki Jimny (and my mother 🤣) with Adrian’s help!! Best night’s sleep in ages! Gotta go memory foam these days! Thanks Adrian & Devon Bed Centre - you are highly recommended!

I recently bought a head board from clearance and it was in a good condition.Later when I received it and open the wrap shocked to see the condition of headboard it is muddy and disgusting. When I called customerservice they were not bothered as it is clearance product.Apalling customerservice.Glad I didn't buy any other products..

No pushy sales, just honest helpful advice when we asked for it.. We were left to ourselves to try as many beds as we wanted without being overlooked or check up on.

Have to say I had excellent service from Devon Bed Centre. They have such good range to choose from and the staff are very helpful not at all pushy and certainly know what they are talking about. Would highly recommend!!

We brought a Bed for our Mother from this company a few years ago.
The bed was good and a good price.
Our Mother passed away 2 years ago.
Last year we received a "Your VIP Shopping Card" through the post addressed to our Mother.
We sent an Email to them and also phoned them.
The man said he was sorry and he would remove our Mother's name from the mailing list.
This has happened twice.
Now it has happened once again!!
This is shameful and disrespectful.
How can you trust a company who can't even remove a name from their mailing list!!

If you are looking to buy a quality bed and or mattress, look somewhere else. Appalling service, staff have as much intelligence as an Amoeba

Ordered before Christmas and was told early in New Year for delivery. Came the first week and delivery guys excellent. Mattress is excellent.

Very pleased with the Millbrook mattress we bought at DBC a few weeks back. It was fairly expensive, but excellent quality.
This is the second time we've purchased a major item from DBC, the first being a double-bed and mattress in 2011. We would certainly go back to them again.

Very disappointed with this local company that I wished to support. Bought their cheapest bed the Maya which it turns out is widely available on the internet from £28 ....so why did I pay £130??? It broke in the first few days of use, which did not surprise as I put it together and was concerned how flimsy it was. So I took it back for a refund but NO - not possible I am told..... originally told they would replace the broken parts but on seeing it they offered a replacement but not my money back. I feel completely ripped off and now have a bed that is not fit for purpose that is free to a good home because it’s no good to me

More than happy with the service we received choosing the bed and mattress. Delivery was on time, with friendly helpful drivers. I agree that delivery will be paid for either in the total cost of the bed or to the deliverers, we did not have a problem with this. Will definatly use Devon Beds again.

My wife and I ordered a bed from Devon Bed Centre having used them some time ago and been very satisfied with their service ,and the bed. On the current occasion we again had no problems and we are very satisfied with the bed we chose. Some reviewers are complaining about a £30 charge for delivery but let me assure them that somewhere along the line they are paying for delivery -it's either in the price of the bed or it's paid to the delivery personnel. Nothing comes free these days!!So far as I am aware Devon beds use 2 independent delivery men who I found to be both efficient and very helpful.

We ordered a mattress which was delivered last week. We have had 6 days of great sleep so far now so couldn't be happier! Overall we found Devon Bed Centre offered us a good service, had a very good selection of mattresses and the prices were better than the other bed shops we tried.

Delivery was a little slower than expected but very happy with the products.

We ordered a bed frame and mattress from their website. Their was a problem with the mattress apparently, in that the price had been listed as £0 upon ordering. We hadn't noticed this until they called us the next morning. The caller was rude, accusatory, inflammatory and unhelpful, not letting my wife speak. We agreed to cancel the mattress order and still order the frame. They called back soon after to say that 'most people collect frames and if you want it delivered you'll need to give the driver £30 cash in hand', which is an utter nonsense - we buy virtually everything online and this has never, ever been suggested by anyone. The caller from the bed centre claims all local independents do this, which is a complete lie. Order cancelled, hundreds of pounds lost by the company due to the awful service and I hope many people read this and use someone better. It wouldn't be difficult.
