We have just purchased an EU sized double mattress topper. We googled how to cool your your bed as we have a memory foam mattress that wants to cook you alive and suggested wool. We ordered our topper over the phone as had many questions which were all answered honestly. It arrived the next day. Fab service. We discovered Devon Duvets as originally we were going to purchase from John Lewis but they didnt have in stock. It was slightly cheaper going direct. We also have a wool duvet and pillows and altogether does cool the bed down and feels like a bed you get in a luxury hotel! Thank you.

Small company, small minded and ignorant people! I bought a duvet 5 or 6 months ago, however due to pandemic I did not even had a chance to open even its cardbox but yet they refused to take the duvet back even to its half price or any price they can think of. Rather than me throwing it to the bin area as I wont use it for sure they refused to take it back attributing to the about 14 days' return policy as if I opened the package. Where is the solidarity due to pandemic? Where is protection of the environment? Where is the preservation of the materials? Where is economics? The intention is to sell as much as possible,''oh I sold this and you bought this, sorry pal, you are trapped''we dont get anything back you should have thought before buying it.What a mind!!!

The trouble with goose down quilts is that after a time they go thin (on the bit in the middle, on top of you). So you get cold shoulders and, especially, hips. And because nowadays they are constructed in squares you can’t just shake the down up a bit. And how do they get the down off the bird? Look online...

So we’ve tried a wool quilt made from English wool. It’s a bit heavier, but not the end of the world, and if it slips down the bed its more of a task to pull it up, again not the end of the world. The 600gm one seems plenty warm (we sleep with bedroom window open all seasons). Haven’t tested whether it’s ‘warm in winter, cool in summer’ but we bought a 300gm one too for the summer, reasoning we could tie the two together if one was not warm enough on really cold nights. I don’t think that will be necessary though.

Delivery took a bit longer than we expected - a week rather than next day – but the packaging and delivery went well and the quilts seem very well made.

I have recently purchased a pillow from this company and from night one found it to be excellent. It’s been an absolute pleasure to sleep without waking due to the pillow becoming to hot. The attention to detail, quality and after care from the company is something you rarely find these days but I can assure you this company has them all.
I would totally recommend this product to anyone and intend to purchase pillows for my whole family for Christmas. They really are that great.

A friend gave me his Devon duvet due to emigration to warmer climes. He had been delighted with it. I contacted the company today explaining the second hand nature of my duvet but asking how to launder it and about the tog. Henrietta could not have been more helpful. I cannot rate her highly enough and if she is anything to go by, this company is excellent! The duvet looks beautiful too but has not yet been tried!

I have just purchased a Wool Mattress Topper and had my first night's sleep which was heavenly. Didn't want to get out of bed and can't wait to get back in. Excellent quality product and would thoroughly recommend. Wish I had known about this years ago. Thank you Devon Duvets.

I've always been a 'hot sleeper', but reaching menopause in combination with the hot weather we had recently really made me think about replacing my synthetic hollowfibre bedding. I decided to give wool a go after listening to my husband, who's used the same wool blanket in all seasons for the last 37 years (true!). I first purchased the mattress topper (to cover the comfortable, but hot Memory Foam mattress) and the lightweight duvet. Delivered two days later, as standard delivery. Both went on my bed that very day, and I had a great night's sleep, despite it being 34 degrees in my bedroom. A week later I ordered the heavier duvet for winter (not tried yet) and the three-folding pillow. Again, delivered about 46 hours after ordering, without having to set up an account or subscribe to newsletters or any such marketing nonsense. The pillow made so much difference to my daily life (I have an issue with my middle back after an injury some years ago). I tried several moulded pillows over the years, but none of these really provided custom-made back and neck support. I had resigned myself to having to live with moderate back pain, headaches and occasional brain fog days, but apparently not, now! The pillow as well as the duvets and mattress topper are made from best quality materials. I love the lanolin smell from the wool, and the well-made cotton linings promise lots of years' use. Good value for money. Last but not least, every item I received was sewn to such perfection, I did not know such quality still existed. Well done Devon Duvets, I would recommend you everywhere!

My mattress topper seems to have gone flat.. is there anything I can do to give it life again.. only had it a few weeks.. I was shocked to see how flat is had gone on one side so I have turned it, the other half is still good. ADVICE PLEASE.. it's a double size for one person.,

I overheat and have a memory foam mattress which makes things worse so I contacted Devon Duvets and they were brilliant. They helped me choose a mattress protector (rather than the padded topper), which is comfortable and disperses the heat well so I'm very happy. It was also no problem for them to do a custom size for me. An excellent experience and it's so nice to be able to support a local firm!

I bought a 3-folding wool pillow a month ago. I love the idea of having a natural fibre pillow, and I already have a wool duvet, which I love. The pillow seemed great for the first week or so, nice and plump and soft (and I actually like the smell!). I have a trapped nerve in my upper shoulder/neck region, so finding a pillow that is supportive is a must. However, as the days have passed, the pillow has lost its softness and plumpness and is quite hard to lie on and very uncomfortable, no matter how much I air it or plump it up. So disappointing, and it wasn't cheap. I have now dug out my old pillow, which feels so much better.

Gorgeous Wool duvet, lovely quality. Arrived super quick, nicely packaged. Highly recommend.
Also purchased the fold over pillow, again lovely quality. Not sure it's right for me yet though. I do suffer with neck ache in the mornings and sadly no change with that after 5 nights.

Wool mattress topper and cotton mattress protector delivered promptly, well packed. They are both high quality. The wool mattress topper in particular is fabulous and really does provide a better night's sleep. Great to find a genuinely British company producing such high quality goods produced in UK. Highly recommended.

Absolutely superb products and service. Wool duvet, wool pillows, duvet cover and pillow cases ordered. Very well packaged and presented. Very good quality bedding, comfortable duvet, light weight and excellent temperature control. All came well packaged in cardboard boxes and also well packaged and presented. Next day delivery.

After having breathing problems due to an allergy I decided to go buy new bedding. After reading the reviews I went for Devon Duvets because their claims made sense and I like their ethos.
My breathing is much improved and I sleep soundly. I never wake up sweaty and hot now. The mattress topper is so comfy and the duvet is lovely and snug. The pillows.. Well by the time I'd emptied out enough to make one flat enough for me I had enough wool left to make another pillow. Which I did using a pillow liner. Probably should have bought a folded one but I am very pleased.
I highly recommend Devon Duvets.

Purchased a 3 fold pillow on an impulse whilst searching for a pillow. I can honestly say it is the first time in years I have slept through the night and felt refreshed. Being a woman who experiences nght sweats this pillow is perfect. I am now seriously considering purchasing the sk duvet.

My wool topper arrived yesterday. Last night the temperature dropped but l was so snuggly warm and have never been so comfortable. You have to be prepared for the smell of wool and sheep. It has a strong smell of lanolin which l love. I think it needs airing but l haven’t got time , I’m going back to bed.
Also l bought the pillow. That doesn’t smell. The pillow and the topper are perfect.
Last Christmas l bought the light duvet. I would recommend that too.
I told everyone at work l will see them after I’ve hibernated.

We ordered a new duvet online after a particular frosty night. Once the order was submitted we changed our mind on the size of the duvet. That was no problem at all, a very friendly and helpful customer service team changed our order over the phone and new duvet and covers arrived the very next day! The duvet is well made, feels cosy and light and after a few nights sleep with it now we are very happy with our choice! The cover also is of a lovely quality! Highly recommended!

Fantastic company and products. I ordered a double duvet one day and it came the next! I had forgotten to put the delivery details and I got an email a few minutes after my order asking me for these. The customer service is friendly and efficient, the duvet is great, well made, and comfy; I also liked the little sachet of lavender which came with it. Highly recommend.
