Easy transaction with knowledgeable staff . Processed quickly and efficiently

My experience was made very straightforward and painless by my friendly server, Shannon, who was excellent and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.

Great showroom with plenty of beautiful options on show.
What made our experience however was our salesperson- Anthony with his residual Yorkshire accent.
What a salesman - presented with quite a challenge with regards to what my 89 year old poorly mobile mum wanted, he was measured and attentive but not at all pushy. He listened to her and what she wanted but asked the right questions in the right way and found what we think was the right solution for her.
We weren’t rushed and the ‘banter’ was there once the decision making was done!
We were impressed.
If the chair lives up to the salesman we will be very happy!

A lovely store with lovely staff. Antony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I thought choosing a new sofa would be a pain, but DFS made it really easy and straightforward. Would highly recommend the Ayr store and will definitely return.

We had excellent service from Antony when we were in the store yesterday.
Very helpful and explained everything to us about the 2 seat recliner we purchased .

Customer service employee Ashley was very helpful and knowledgeable. All staff members encountered were also very courteous and welcoming.

A perfectly painless and reasonably enjoyable experience only soured by the order confirmation being emailed to us showing things we were only told would be "handed over" and "installed by the delivery team" turning out to be costed additions. We were never informed these needed to be bought, the implication was they were included in the delivery price which feels disingenuous.
Also the insurance - only taken due to the amount of tech now on the product - was taken because we were told it would be unlimited claims, we were never told this is only to the value of the product. This could be eaten in two visits as they set the call out charges. Again we feel this wasn't made clear enough.

Given that the delivery charge is non negotiable - this should be included in the price as the price is then misleading

I had the best experience today at the Ayr store . I was served by Marty McFly who was excellent. He was so helpful and informative but I never felt pressurised to buy . His pleasant manner definitely helped in me making my decision to buy . A great person to have as a sales person .

Staff allowed us space to browse without feeling pressured to buy, when we eventually made a decision of which sofa set to buy the sales assistant was extremely helpful and informative and guided us through the process without any hassle

The overall experience was very positive. Staff were polite, welcoming, helpful. Anthony in particular introduced himself and let us know he was available to answer any questions. Customer service was very good and at point of sale, Anthony answered any questions and explained everything fully. He had an excellent manner and was very approachable, as were all of the staff on site. All were friendly yet unobtrusive, allowing us time to browse without feeling pressure. All in all a very good experience.
