We visited the DFS store in South Ruislip and had a great experience. The showroom had a wide range of sofa options, and the staff were genuinely cordial. They guided us patiently and helped us choose the right sofa for our home. Highly recommended.

Very easy and welcoming

Bought dfs corner leather sofas costing over £3,500 in 2014 upon arrival and assembled I noticed the difference in quality of leather on the middle sofa it was so obvious compared to the rest of the sofa. I rang them and they came to inspect they said it’s a different part of the cow but quality is still 100%. Few years went on and noticed that part of the sofa starting to show wear and cracking rang dfs and they said they can remove that part of the sofa and replace but it will be difficult to do it just seemed like excuses and they said your wooden floor risks high chance of getting scratched in the process to which we decided just put up with it as we had just put the flooring in. I have had the sofa for over 10 years and the threading has come undone so much so the filling is now exposed and more cracking and wear on the leather basically it looks like a 30 years old sofa! To which family and friends comment how poor of a quality dfs sofas really are. Never again!!

Honest safe customer service with zero pressure

Staff at the store were friendly. No problem with delivery of furniture. Unfortunately, we are not happy with the response regarding a quality issue with the leather sofa. There is a distinct difference with the seat. As the cushions are next to each other you can clearly see one is smoother than the other. We understand leather differs but we would expect a quality check before the furniture leaves the warehouse. This was not a cheap sofa. DFS basically said we just have to accept this as it's leather. We can accept diffences in the leather as long as they are not staringly obvious. Not an acceptable response from DFS. Also, when DFS had their Spring sale this sofa definitely was not included even when they advertised all furniture would have up to £500 reduction in price. For example, we paid £1849 for the sofa in Jan, in Feb it went up then in March it went back down to £1849. Then the spring sale started and I received an email to say it had dropped £500. I therefore went to the store the next day but the email had been deleted and the sofa went back up to £1849. Clearly not included in the spring sale.False advertising.

Staff very professional they knew the products and they listen to the customer. At no point we were under pressure to purchase.

What a lovely experience today at dfs. The representative ‘Amina’ looked after me and helped me with my choice of furniture. She was helpful, polite, attentive, patient and just generally had fantastic customer service. Thank you for all your help! :)
