We ordered a Lovise corner sofa
We ordered a Lovise corner sofa, after getting delayed twice it finally arrived 6 weeks late. We were very disappointed with what we've received. The cushions, seat and back just did not fit onto the frame. After phoning customer services the Swansea store sent a technician out who was very dismissive, then the store manager came out. Everyone we delt with at the company was insisting that it was within manufacturing tolerances as they allow 5cm but the manager admitted that customers arent told this in store and was not known to us at time of sale, our cushions overhung the frame by 8cm! After a long battle with customer services we applied for a charge back on the credit card. On the evidence we provided the credit card company sided with us and gave a full refund. DFS have now taken the sofa back. We're gutted, there was no real offer of a resolution through the process. Why couldn't they go back to the manufacturer and ask why this sofa was like this and made it right for us?
