I use dg heath timber merchants on a regular basis.
Quality products at really good prices and excellent customer services.
Delivery's always on time at my convenience.
I'll always recommend dg heath to any of my customers, friends and family

I ordered on the 16/5/25,put my preferred delivery date as 20/5/25,waited in all morning,phoned dg heath at 1:30pm to ask where my order was only to get the reply “I was just about to email you that it will be delivered on the 28/5/25…..they had 4 days(3 minus the Sunday) to let me know instead of me waiting in……terrible company that doesn’t care about it’s customers !!!! Will not buy off them again……it’s no wonder why their star ratings are so low

The best flooring material in South Wales.
You can’t beat the prices on good flooring and doors.
And I got to say the service from all the staff is exceptional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SERVICE. Recently purchased decking boards and can honestly say that the service, customer relations, price and quality is second to none. Delivery was on my driveway the following day and appreciate this as it was a rush to get them here for the carpenters. All stops pulled out and with a helpful sales team your guaranteed a helpful service. One of the best and will not disappoint. Worth dropping a call for quotation as I saved a lot of money.

It’s not just about supporting local with these guys, it’s the fact that you can walk in and actually talk to a person about what you are looking for! They are always willing to help you find a good solution to all jobs big or small, and when I need materials that I can’t fit in my van, they are happy to deliver🙂
I have even had them deliver my materials early so my builders could get on, I really appreciate the extra mile that the transport manager (Dai Saunders) is willing to go to to keep customers happy, and with a “can do” friendly attitude too, it’s a competitive market out there, but these guys are right up there🙌
A really important part of Pontarddulais, so let’s keep supporting them.

I have used DG Heath a handful of times in the recent few weeks. I Called up to make an enquiry on a bulk timber order and within minutes I had a quote which was by far the cheapest in the south wales area. Communication was easy and kept me up to date with delivery and also adding and removing things from the initial quote. Delivery was also one of the fastest available for the quantity of items. I always receive a phone call when the driver is near which I find is extremely helpful. Whenever I visit the yard to collect items it’s always a fast and friendly process. Definitely the go to timber merchants in the South Wales area.

Service and communication absolutely shocking happy to take payment but not deliver the goods when promised and still no clue when it will come. They promised an update and not getting anything, have dealt with them for many years and spent a lot of money with them but recently service has failed terribly.

Have used DG Heath for lots of orders always deliver decent quality materials, helpful people and usually the best prices in and around south wales

Called in to D G Heath as we are building an extension. Gaving visited other places but the staff there didn't know much about the lvt product they had on display. What a difference at DG Heath!!! The staff were so knowledgeable and let us take samples home and answered our many queries. We returned the next day with more questions and Leoni couldn't have been more patient and helpful. We didn't realise that they also did porcelain tiles...we have spent weeks looking online and ordering (tiny) samples. The staff were AMAZING. Jamie asked what sort of thing we were looking for and Paul tool us into the yard (after kitting us out with hi vis jackets). Paul was unavailable helpful and lugged around different full size tiles in different lighting for us to see. Jamie suggested to take a tile home to try in-situ and meanwhile worked on a fantastic price for us. The whole vibe in the office is extremely inviting and the service was like nothing I've experienced elsewhere. Jamie, you're a star! Thanks also to Rhys & David. You all make a fantastic team

He bumped into my car and just drove off didn't care at all absolutely tamping as its a brand new car got his reg number and photos of his lorry NU21XMC

Not impressed at all!! Recently spent a considerable amount of money on doors and flooring and was told delivery would be between 10-2. I waited until 4.30 and
still no delivery or phonecall to let me know what was happening, after taking a day of annual leave. On ringing I was told that the delivery should have been at 10am, but nobody had bothered to let me know. I eventually had my delivery at 8pm! if it wasn't for the kindness of the delivery driver I would have had to take another day off. If this is what they call customer care!?? I was going to spend a considerable amount on my back garden with them, but NEVER AGAIN!!
