Useless service and advice

Had some promotional material sent from our Head office in Europe. I understand that we need to pay tax but first they told us it was ready to be delivered then our import licence had expired. " We are not an import company therefore registered with customs on my own as I did not want DHL to take my passport. Got message that all is good. Then another email blaming us for a spelling mistake with the registration. So now need to go again to clear the issue. It has to be their fault as we had goods delivered before had no problem. So 2 trips to customs plus 12 days of storage charges and still nothing. They are useless and just want to charge all the time.

Worst experience ever – DHL is a nightmare

I paid 150 euros for an express 48-hour delivery and this has been an absolute disaster. The service is catastrophic – instead of delivering, DHL keeps asking me for endless extra documents, wasting my time and giving me no clear solution.

The package is personal, yet they make the process impossible. On top of that, support is extremely poor: agents reply only once per day, with no real help, and no urgency despite my situation.

This has been the worst shipping experience I’ve ever had. Totally unacceptable for a company that claims to provide express service.

Avoid DHL – they are unreliable, slow, and their customer support is a complete failure.

DHL - 100% Gold Medal Time Wasters

Used DHL's Courier Post service and what a disaster it was. Package was accepted and paid for at local post office. A week later i checked the tracking and the parcel was still in Thailand. Called the post office and they say DHL want some extra paperwork but they did not know what it was. So we had to wait until the box was back to find out wait they needed.

Would have been happy to supply anything they wanted. Our phone # and email clearly provided on waybill and box. Why someone at DHL could not contact us and get what they need via email? Or why they could not get the post office to contact us and tell us what they need?

A complete an utter communications breakdown disaster from DHL.

Gold medal time wasters are DHL.

We now found out what they wanted when the box was returned, we could have sent them the info they needed by email in 1 minute. If only they took 10 seconds to contact us and ask for the info, what no one has a phone at DHL? i am livid beyond belief how useless DHL were in our shipment.

DHL fails again…

Package picked up from our office in Lampang at 15:00 on Monday. Package delivered to "3rd party" facility in Samut Prakarn at 06:30 on Tuesday morning. On Thursday it is still not appearing on tracking site (only shows label created) and Customer Service can still not advise when our customer will receive package in Pakistan. Regret that we did not send this via Thai Post International Express Mail Service. This would have been cheaper, faster and more reliable and their tracking service actually works. DHL is basically a con using the cheapest 3rd party couriers they can find. I suggest trying anybody else as it is hard to imagine how the service could be any more unreliable or dishonest.

I will never use DHL again. Sham fees + package not received, nor returned

Horrible company. Our package was immediately moved into storage so extra fees could be levied. On top of that "customs overtime" of 500 THB was charged and was later on labeled an "accounting error". Never received the updated invoice with the correct price. Never received the package. DHL Thailand stopped responding to our emails.

I have confirmed with the shop abroad that it has not been sent back to them either.

I'd really like to know if someone at the company gets to take home all those "unclaimed" packages at the end of the year...
