Pure scammers.
Only bad experiences with them

Deliberately obstructive, lazy, incompetent - it is hard to believe that these couriers can be this bad. I would advise everyone to never use DHL in Hungary

The service staff are amazingly ‘not’ customer service oriented at all. I had a replacement part being shipped to me with no cost and Adam at dhl Budapest kept bombarding me with multiple emails not explaining why I need to fill out some forms and give some pvid number which I do not have and refused to call me when I told him multiple times to call me or reach out directly to dhl customer and not me the recipient

They don't care about the customer. If we send a courier through DHL hungary, keep in mind, it's not DHL hungary's responsibility to ensure the parcel is delivered, but rather your responsibility that the parcel is collected. You have to pay and you have to bear the responsibilities.

I sent a package with DHL Express, expecting it to arrive in one day as promised, but it took three days, causing me significant issues. Despite the high shipping cost, there was no reimbursement or proper compensation for the delay. Customer service was unhelpful, offering no real solutions. Definitely not worth the price or the frustration.

It was allocated for DHL HUNGARY to pick up a very important package within a time frame of 10 am to 3 pm. I received a confirmation email that the local DHL will contact me. They were supposed to call me to tell me that they’ve arrived. I waited and no one called. so i took matters into my own hands and called them at 2:30. They told me that I did not call them to confirm if i was going to be available during that time frame or not. Mind you, there was thirty minutes left until three o’clock. Despite that, they said no one could come and pick it up. I paid for fast track and it was supposed to arrive earlier and i had booked a flight ticket. now i lost the flight money. moving on, i told them if i could at least drop it off to a dhl, they said no. i told them to come at eight am the next day. they didn’t come ! i called twice from 8-10 am to make sure that someone is coming to pick it up. I CALLED FOR A THIRD TIME and the courier was able to come finally after i was put on hold. this experience has cost me time and money. they have to be more specific with what steps the customer has to take to ensure the service. if they want the customers to call to confirm even though i received an email titled “ confirmation email” with the following text: This is to confirm that we have made the necessary arrangement to have your package collected.

i never got a call that it was to be collected and they left me hanging.

DHL is one of the best companies generally to get deliveries done and the delivery driver himself was fine (nice, quick, easy) but arranged for my bag to be collected (send my bag which uses DHL) and was told between 9am-6pm, I have checked multiple times to be assured they were coming. It is after 6pm and only THEN got a call from them to say in 10 minutes. Sorry I have literally waited home ALL DAY (in which I needed to do things and I leave the country tomorrow so would be nice to enjoy SOME of my last day) and you didn't even turn up within the allocated window of 9am-6pm. I checked in multiple times during the day where you told the company i was using "yeah by 6pm" (and it wasn't) so you had plenty of opportunity to provide a better timeline so I could use some portion of my day. I understand they are a busy and preferred company and that there are delays but DHL would have clearly known well before and could have notified someone, even if it were just to say after 4pm etc so I could use any portion of my day.

I really hope transportation is on point. Might make up some stars if it is.

I really wish it was not DHL that the shop uses to send parcels. They don't have DHL Hungary so they just pass the packages going to Hungary to the Hungarian post, which is completely horrible and they don't speak English. The particular post office responsible for home delivery of my package has 1.6 stars out of 5.0 on Google for the reason that they don't do home delivery, they simply send notifications that people should come in person to the pickup point. I didn't even get a notification, I had to figure it out by myself through tracking. When I came to pick it up the lady was a complete jerk shouting at me for suggesting showing my ID on my phone. I came back with ID and she was even more pissed not even talking to me. Thanks DHL for the experience!

They claim that they tried delivering several packages but they don't even try

Tracking provided and updated even when in Hungary, very rare.
