DTUK Performance Reviews 

I have been a customer with DTUK for the last 5 years and will continue to be a loyal customer and this is one of the reason why,
I bought a new pickup truck 4 weeks ago and was in two minds wether or not to put the chip onto my pickup or keep on my Skoda Octavia vrs challenge. I decided to order a new wiring loom through Andrew at DTUK to put on my new pickup and Andrew had to order the parts direct from Germany (bearing in mind I had already got a substantial discount), 5 days later the loom arrives by Royal Mail special delivery 1pm, i fitted the new wiring loom and put the chip on the vehicle. To which at this point problems started, between myself, Andrew and even Germany’s technical department we couldn’t get the new software to download. Andrew spent 48hours trying to resolve the issues but nothing would work. So we agreed I would sent the chip (module) back to DTUK for them to try sort it out and to my amazement Andrew had sent me a new chip/module out even before receiving my old chip! I was still on the understanding that they was working on my old chip/module, and I was amazed at 11:30am the next morning to have received my new chip. If that isn’t brilliant customer service I don’t know what is. This is a brilliant company and I would recommend to any who asks me.

My last 10 cars i was going always to an software tuner.
But this time becouse of the garantee i make my research on the net and i found DTUK i order the DTUK® CRD3+ and tcu+ obd gearbox flash on my s4.

the shiping was fast and instal also.
The performance and the bleuthooth app is also very nice.
But the performance that this add to my car was shocking!!
It feels like a very good chiptuning and is also adjustble with updates thanks to Andrew

so i tested with dragy gps and stock it did 0-60mhp in 4.6 sec and 0-125mph in 18.5 sec

but after the box witch adjustments 0-60mph in 4.2 sec and 0 to 125mph in 16.8 seconds!! if i measure on the speedometer than it go in 15.5 sec to 125mph!!!
fual consumtion stays the same that doesnt matter for me.
later im gonna post also dyno from this.
this is simply the best external box to buy on a new car or even used

I purchased a box for my Range Rover Evoque 2.2TD4
I had a few issue removing the plug from the fuel rail pipe, due to very limited working space, I contacted Andrew at DTUK for advice, he was absolutely first class with detailed instruction and images.( including an image of a set of picking tools), of how to remove the plug. The box has now been fitted for a week or so, I have found it to be excellent increased fuel economy and also much improved performance
I would like to thank Andrew for his help and support, the customer service is five stars, and a great product, I would highly recommend DTUK

I have never ever had an issue with Dtuk. Andrew and the guys are brilliant at helping and will answer any questions you have. I have had 3 tuning boxes and 4 pedal boxes from them now. Had one issue when I first bought a pedal box but Andrew replied to my message straight away.

He even managed to get me the black version of the pedal box for my newer car. Its deco worth it and always feel the difference.

Golf mk7 GTD 185 (absolute beast)
Mini Countryman SD 140 (made it worthy of the 'S' Badge)
Audi A5 TDI 143 (Perfect smooth power delivery)

Quick easy and neat. Power gains are great (especially on the GTD) and perfect for anyone just wanting a bit extra without changing hardware and maximising power.
For us we use map 1 as its a much more linear delivery throughout the range for around town driving.
Map 2 is a big wallop of power at the low end which tails off around 3700 rpm. Nice for motorway driving without changing down. It just goes.
Map 3 I found a litttle limp but each to their own I guess.
If the Golf hadnt been stolen I wouldnt have bought 3 units but if I change my car I can have it reprogrammed to suit. Try that with a remap!!
The new bluetooth option is good as I can get on the motorway and swap to map 2 without stopping and getting under the bonnet.
I love it and its British. Pays for itself in enjoyment of power and a slight increase in economy.
Do your own research but in my opinion you cant go wrong

Bought a stage 1 map tuning box from dtuk, i have an audi a5 2.0 tfsi 2017 ,after a few weeks i took it for a dyno run, these were my results...

Stock 199.7bhp - 346Nm
Dtuk Tuning box 222.8bhp - 364Nm

So i got +23bhp and around +18nm
When buying the box i was quoted 240bhp and 400Nm...
Personally i would never buy a tuning box or recommend anyone to, if youre after more power go for a remap instead which is what i have now done, stage 2 remap i now have 270bhp and 450nm.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY A BOX THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!

A 1st class service and product.

I purchased a DTUK CRD3+ with the Bluetooth option for my Tiguan R-LINE TDI 4MOTION around 8 months ago and it's been a revelation, from my initial enquiry and purchase through to fitting, and of course the results.

The support and advise that Adam and Andrew gave throughout was more than helpful as they didn’t make any wild claims, they were just very honest about what you can except to achieve. The results were actually better than they suggested.

On opening the box, the instructions are easy to follow and it only took me around 20 mins to fit and set it up and then we were away.

Since then, I've seen a dramatic improvement in acceleration and overall performance but equally I personally have also seen an increase in fuel economy of around 8-9%. I average 85 miles a day and it's paid for itself in that time. You still have to maintain reasonably sensible driving habits, but the benefit is you have the increase in power and performance which means you have less need to drive the car hard but when you need to move you can.

It’s no surprise that the after sales support is excellent as well. Andrew and Adam are happy to answer any questions or offer any advice when you ask for it.

Adam and Andrew are the real deal. I can’t praise them or their product enough.

I've read a lot about DTUK over my 6 years of Audi, you'll find very few negatives on-line, overwhelmingly positives.

Initially ordered the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) upgrade for my Jag and it has made the world of difference in my 6 speed auto box, especially between 1-2 where it was a little sluggish.

So impressed that have also bought the Performance box and pedalbox+ which should see my current 510BHP raise a little

I have no reservations in recommending anyone to DTUK, in fact I have loads of times.

The customer service experience from initial enquiry through to the aftersales support is first class.

I have installed 3 products from them now, all work perfectly out of the box and have transformed my SQ5 from "a bit quick but boring" into "seriously quick and exciting"

I have now been supplied with 2 tuning boxes from DTUK, the most recent for my 2016 A4 2.0lt fsi 190ps. Firstly, and before I purchased I asked some questions about the product and the fitment. Each time the answers came back straight away, clear and concise. As for the products themselves, they are high quality products and give amazing results. To say they put a smile on your face is a understatement. It transforms the performance of the engine into another level and I am happy, as many are, to recommend this product.

after changing my car to a newer model of the IS300h i fitted my old my pedal box + to my new car, unfortunately my managment light kept coming on after a quick call to simon & adam they learnt after speaking to technical support in germany the pedal box could be reset the simple instructions where emailed to me ,after the reset the pedal box + works perfectly again.
great after sales service you cant ask for anymore.

Spoke with Adam and Andrew over the weekend and at start of the week and by Tuesday have the pedal box fitted and working very well, Great service from the team and the product is wonderfull . Could not recommend more !00% you will not be disappointed

So I have been running my DTUK box for 3 months now and theres not one fault I can find with it. Just wow i guess and great achievement for the lads over at DTUK. I put this FSR kit on to my Polo GTI 6C back in January having the car only done 800 miles i felt it was more than a sufficient amount of miles for my car to be ran in. I have done 9k miles since the kit was fitted and it still surprises me now. The fitting instructions are great and simple, easily fitted. That extra urge of power just transforms the car to another level.

I got the box fitted and was intrigued to see the figures that I had gained from it so I headed up to Evotune at Durham as they are praised for accurate rollers and knowledgeable about dyno's regarding DSG. My car ran the highest figure 243.5BHP in gear 4. Bearing in mind the box was only on +2... It still had another setting to go up.

After running the box for the past couple of month I was slowly wanting more power, I have ordered a few other mods to try and gain that little extra power out of it. I only bought the tuning box and not the pedal box combo however I didn't take my mind off trying one out...

I went up to DTUK last week to try out their demo pedal box, Wow... That's what I have to say. The throttle response is just another level, so not only has the car been transformed by these guys once but twice.

I first tried the pedal box without the tuning box turned on as suggested by Andrew and it felt like I had the tuning box on that's how much of a difference the pedal box made.

The idea of the pedal box is to bring the throttle response to the top of the pedal and it sure does. It has 3 settings... Sport, Sport plus and eco... Well I'll be honest I have tried all 3 modes and now I've not moved off sport plus+3. I have tried all types of driving on all settings and any of them makes that extra punch your looking for. DTUK quoted it can feel like an extra 25bhp on your car... By god it does.

Sometimes the sport plus can be a bit aggressive from the start line if your in slow moving traffic but on an open road or from standstill with no cars in front it's worth having. For town driving with stop and starts eco mode makes a good difference!

Now with both the pedal and tuning box fitted the car is just unbelievable, i tried turning them both off and driving the original car again and it feels flat yet when I first bought it, it was like a rocket but now... Well its like a missile.


For anyone has gone map or tuning box even the pedal boxes will transform your car again, I would definitely recommend purchasing one, the results are mind blowing... I have been running it 4 days now and like the tuning box its here to stay.

The lads up at DTUK have definitely got it cracked! And there customer service is second to none!
