Bought the end of Nov.2025 a 30 days…

Bought the end of Nov.2025 a 30 days plan 120 XCG for my 3weeks holiday in december 2025 on Curacao.
DIGICEL has taken in januari februari marchc 2026 each month 120 XCG from my creditcard by opening the Renew button ! So I paid already 480XCG. How to get a refund??

"A VERY POOR COMPANY- LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!"

²Digicel increase their prices every year, yet the package options available are decreasing!
I go to the Caribbean every year to do VOLUNTARY work.
Up until recently, in the 30 day plan, there has always been 100 free international calls/texts to the UK, USA and Canada. Now, in the last couple of years they have dropped the free UK calls/texts to the UK, but KEPT them for the USA and Canada!.... How unfair is that heh!!
To ring the UK with my UK EE SIM, costs £2.56p A MINUTE!..... Texts are 75p EACH too! That is FAR MORE expensive than what North America would have to pay anyway, if they had to do it, (Which they don't have too now!)...... This is TOTALLY UNFAIR!
I have OTP texts sent to my phone for banking security constantly, but now, because of this new "stupid policy" , it is costing me a FORTUNE!..... And before you ask, FLOW is no better anyway!
If I want an UK international Package from EE, it will cost me £7.50p A DAY!!
How can I afford to do any of this when I am paying for ALL of my expenses myself for 4 months, just to enable me to do my voluntary work??? ..It's absolutely CRAZY!

I complained to them, and got the usual stupid..... "Run of the Mill reply!" They didn't even have the decency to tell me WHY they had changed this?...,despite me asking this specifically in my email!....... SHAME ON YOU DIGICEL, FOR DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING! ........when all I am trying to do, is to help local people less fortunate than myself!

There needs to be FAR more compettion in the industry , rather than just two companies!

Unreliable

Communication is very very poor
You have paid your bill to make sure that Internet is available but the run around with technician is horrendous not good customer base services they dont turn up.for their appointments .you have to keep calling to find out whats happening

Digicel won't reimburse credit on my account

It was a fight to close my Digicel+ account and they were still charging me two months after. I eventually closed it in Nov 2024 but Digicel has not reimburse me for money that is in credit on my account. I went to their Digicel office five weeks ago to be informed that the money would be paid into my bank account 15 days later. They have now exceed this time for payment by nineteen days and I have not received my refund. I am currently abroad and will be for some time and had to use their AI assisted service but it is not fit for purpose. I keeps asking me the same information over and over and then it checks out. At one point it came back and said I owe them $10,000. I am at the end of my tether and is stuck what to do.

Absolutely horrendous service

Absolutely horrendous service. In my area which is Santa Cruz there is always issues because Digicel refuses to fix the main line. They are always understaffed in terms of technicians and it takes days to weeks for them to come fix the issue. They’re exploiting the fact that there are very little service providers in Trinidad, if there were better options I would have switched years ago

I called for two months because my home…

I called for two months because my home internet wasn't working properly. They claimed to be escalating on multiple occasion, then one night someone called me almost 9pm, phone rang once, then hung up. I got a message immediately after saying the team tried to contact me and was unsuccessful so they closed my case. So after multiple times calling waiting for a tech to come out, even after they did a speed test and the speed was 2.1, no one came. I called to cancel my service. They stated I needed to return modem, which i did. I still got a bill, when i called to cancel again they told me someone from the disconnection team need to call to confirm that i wanted to cancel? I've called multiple times to cancel. They said i missed a call to confirm and that is why i can't cancel. When you call back you can't speak to someone in cancellation department you can't call them they have t call you! So even though I have no modem or service i am still being billed.. Absolutely worse service!

Digicel Internet is the WORST!


I’m paying $8,500 a month and 90% of the time the service is useless. The box is in my living room, but if I step into my bedroom, there’s no connection. Every night around 1–3am the internet completely goes out—no browsing, no messages, nothing. I reported it and got no real help. Digicel is unreliable, overpriced, and a scam. I would never recommend it to anyone. Stay far away—I’m switching to Flow.

Options to speak to a representative of…

Options to speak to a representative of Digicel I dog$+it low and apparently if you lose a receipt after a payment you have 0000 to access to it because for a somewhat major service provider they have no actual database or representatives at the desk are too lazy to access them....bottom line i wish a zero star review was available because older folks are having a harder time as well as me in the younger generation, not everyone has time for emailing and Whatsapping a rep.

Digicel+ The Worst Service

Is there a rating less than 1.

Going into second week now, my landline number still not ported.
Helpdesk personnel telling you a supervisor and/or a manager will contact you. Since I had the service "None of them" never ever do contact you.
I'm having the new install removed PERMANTLY.
I DON'T EVER WANT TO HEAR THE NAME "digicel" ever again.

Digicel have serious issues with…

Digicel have serious issues with scamming can you imagine my fifth sim card for the month shut down because of a guidelines they say my number went against and I have no idea how to scam ... People could just randomly use your number and scam you and you won't know unless you are called about it ... I don't recommend anyone to shop at Digicel they are the worse ... You could have money on your phone and can't get it back and they don't care all they saying is sorry for your lost ... Why go with Digicel when your sim is at risk of a scam why go with Digicel if your sim can shut down beyond your control and no compensation or anything... Digicel is the worse I'm done with them

Rip off of a company taking advantage…

Rip off of a company taking advantage of the local population. Terrible options for topups. 65naf for 30 days for 8gb... No options for lesser amounts of data. Topped up 300mb for 1 day as needed data, couldn't understand why I had data after 2 days, what they don't tell you is they have a sneaky auto renew, so paid for 2 extra days without knowing. Feel sorry for people living her as I think all providers are just as bad, ripping off their customers as there is limited competition. For comparison €10 gets you 10gb data + calls + texts in NL.

Digicel is an official scam

Digicel is an official scam. We purchased an eSIM for a visit in Jamaica directly from Digicel website, the eSIM did not work (plan was installed and activated properly). Customer service claimed that they did not recognize my order, despite being provided the order number and even the phone number attached to that eSIM. I will file a chargeback with my Amex when we are back home.

This Company is Unfairly Taking The…

This Company is Unfairly Taking The Population’s Funding For Service and Not Giving any Services. And Yet, Digicel Never give back The funds taking For Not Giving Service.

Fraud

Very poor customer service

Month after month I have tried to pay my bill using the app but it has not worked for a very long time. So I have to get to Surepay or the Digicel store. All very inconvenient. The Digicel staff always say that the system is down. For a tech comms company that you can't connect to, the situation is unbelievable!! I get the feeling that nobody in this company really cares. Avoid them if you can.
