I ordered and did not receive shipping notification. After no replied emails I finally got through on the phone and was told my order would be on back order for 3 weeks. This is after already waiting 10 days. Not good enough. I’m still waiting for my refund.

Digidirect has gone downhill. Their customer service is nothing but condescending, barely speaking english individuals who blame their incompetence on the client. I wouldn’t order from them.
After waiting for close to 3 months for a backorder lens, I decided to reach out to the manufacturer to check. To my surprise, they told me that the lens that I ordered is no longer in production and is being replaced by a new version. However, I have not gotten any notification from Digidrect. Their only communication is that the item is in backorder and the supplier did not give an ETA.
Followed up order 2 weeks after it was placed to be told the following:
My apologies upon checking as of the moment we are still waiting for the stock of this item, and we do not have exact ETA. But once we have it we will proceed to deliver your order. We will update you in 1-3 week time. Thank you
This seems to be a common occurrence and it's not good enough. I wish I read these reviews before I placed my order.
On March 23rd I ordered a light, case and trigger. On March 26th I got an email saying the light was out of stock, but the trigger and case were in stock. On April 23rd I got the exact same update. On April 29th I got an email saying the light (which had been out of stock) had been sent, and then carry case was being packed in the warehouse to be sent to me, but the tigger was out of stock. On June 4th I emailed them and they said they didn't have the case, it was a mistake and hadn't been getting packed like they told me. On June 25th I got an email saying the ETA on the case was 1 week and the trigger was 3 weeks. On July 21st they said the trigger as an "ETA of mid-August as the shipment was delayed due to severe weather conditions." but the case was finally being sent out (4 months after I ordered it). And today September 17th I have finally cancelled my order. This has been the absolute worst experience I have had with ordering something online, I would highly encourage anyone thinking of buying from them to not.
Ordered a brand new Nikon Z5II,on 27/8, then received an e-mail saying "Out of Stock" next day !
I did get worried, but then received another e-mail, 6 days later, advising that it had been shipped & today I have it sitting in front of me !

Let down every time I purchase from Digi Direct. Constantly having stock for sale that they don't have on hand. Everything is back-ordered and takes up to 6 weeks. I purchased a camera from them last wee,k and they couldn't even give me a time frame for when the product would be delivered. I got a refund and took my cash elsewhere.

Bought a battery from their website. Order went in fine, no issues. Paid for express shipping. Received an email 2 days later stating that 'as per the website, the battery was not in stock, please wait for future updates'... The website doesn't display accurate stock and they'll still take your money for 'express shipping' even with an unknown arrival time.
This is my second order, i assume the first one (same battery), went through fine to convince people they're legitimate.
They advertise and sell products on their website which they don't have, they then sit on your money for a while, then refund you. The ACCC needs to look into this practice.
I placed an order with digiDirect on July 17 and paid in full. It has now been 12 days and two of my items are still missing with no clear explanation or delivery date. One Aputure light arrived, but the second one and the Godox flash are still not here.
What is even more frustrating is that these products were listed as “in stock” on their website when I placed the order. Selling items that are not actually in stock and then keeping customers waiting for weeks is unfair and misleading. This experience has been very disappointing and I feel let down as a customer.
I will never shop here again because you can never know what is actually in stock. After you pay, they may keep you waiting for weeks or even months. I even read another review where a customer shared photos and said they have been waiting five months for their order — this is unacceptable. Do not be fooled by prices that are $10–20 cheaper here; it is better to pay a little more and buy from a more reliable and established store.
If they finally send my items, I will update this review to confirm.
The Sydney CBD store has always been good to deal with. Until today when had a salesperson who treated me like I was an inconvenience. They just lost a loyal customer.
Extremely disappointing experience with digiDirect. I ordered a monitor that was listed as in stock, received a confirmation, then heard nothing for over a week. When I followed up, I was told it was on backorder (despite no warning at checkout or the product page). A few days later, I was told the product was discontinued altogether — over 10 days after they took payment.
To make matters worse, they offered a replacement that was both inferior in specs and $50 cheaper than what I paid — without offering a refund of the difference.
Even as i write this they are still selling the discontinued monitor on their site.
This isn’t the first time this has happened with digiDirect either, I’ve had previous orders accepted and paid for, only to be told after the fact that the item was oversold and unavailable.
I won’t be ordering from them again. Poor transparency, slow communication, misleading stock information and very shady business practices.

Three weeks ago, I ordered four items online. One of them was 'awaiting arrival'.
I would expect an order of such to be shipped once the the final item came in stock. However, i received a package yesterday, and it was one item. Not the one that that was awaiting stock, but one of the three that was apparently in stock, but it was not correct. The item on the website was incorrectly advertised, and I was sent something different, that had also been opened and taped back up. I sent a few emails and have heard nothing. Now the item isn't even on the website. I'm affraid to ask for a refund, after reading the other reviews here, and think I'll just have to bide my time and wait.
I'd say they are either a dropship online store, or simply order from their shopfronts, then ship it, as I can't see why it would take so long. In either case, horrible experience, and it's only just started.
Most of the stock can be found elsewhere, do yourself a favour and shop around.
I would not recommend purchasing online from DigiDirect. My order was delayed by two weeks without any clear communication. During that time, I reached out to their team multiple times and received inconsistent explanations about why my item hadn’t shipped. After three weeks, I followed up again and was finally told the product was actually out of stock, and they wouldn’t have an update for another two to three weeks. The lack of transparency and poor communication made the whole experience incredibly frustrating. I've cancelled my order but don't trust that I'll receive the refund if this is how they operate.
Made an order online, paid express shipping which stated 1-3 day dispatch. Received half my order without any explanation, attempted to contact the company, which left me with an automated response with no further follow up. Finally got a hold of some one, I requested a refund, as it has been 5 weeks since my original order, and I had to purchase elsewhere, I insisted they send me a confirmation email that they have refunded my items, whilst I stay on the phone, they said it was sent, I received nothing. After promising they sent me a confirmation of refund to my email, I hung up, only to receive an "items on backorder" email. Now, checking my emails after the weekend, they have sent an email "your items have been shipped", not adhering to the requested refund.
After calling our local digidirect store in Perth, who were exceedingly helpful, they explained they are franchise owned, and anything purchased online comes from a warehouse (hence other reviews here complaining local items couldn't be picked up and they had to wait for out of stock items from the online warehouse), knowing this, I would obviously never buy from digidirect online again but the physical store is not at fault.
Ordered on Thursday, told on Sunday that its set for packing and shipping today. Still hasn't been done.
They likely don't have the products Ive ordered by the look of it, and going by other reviewers' experiences.
Edit: The most important item is definitely out of stock.

I was really excited for my new order. They did contact me the day after I ordered, as one part was incorrect. I paid straight away and I have heard nothing since. I have emailed and used the support board for weeks with no response. I have now had to raise a claim through the bank. I really do recommend doing your research and buying elsewhere.
