I used them many times to print my photos, and some of these times I had to call them before sending files to print. Lady on the phone has always been very helpful and kind. And most important, prints were of good quality for the price. Colors stood out compared to similar companies (digitalab is a bit more expensive than those, that is true) and consistent results color-wise everytime I have used them.

I used this company many times and their service and quality of work was always excellent. I WAS annoyed however with their policy of charging postage and packing etc multiple times if ordering several prints, even though they were all dispatched in the same cardboard tube! I did query this with them and got no response. Having been a loyal customer for many years, they now won't deal with me as when I go to register, I am NOT a professional photographer. Reluctantly I now go elsewhere ! Very poor treatment indeed!

Used in the past for film develop, print and scan and had no issues at all.

Film processing has now moved to their sister company River and Coast, which I have just used and have received the same level of service.

The only place I will order my competition prints from. Had problems with many different labs but I know they will always arrive with no issues when I order from digitalab. They always get compliments! Fantastic customer service too!

As a professional photographer I occasionally need large scale prints framed or printed for large commercial projects. I had a quick request to turnaround some large prints for a project and they quoted (roughly £3k) which I paid as I had used them before (albeit under the merged Color World brand) so thought I was getting a fair price and didn't really have the time to shop around so thought there was a chance I may have been paying over the odds for a rush job but this still seemed okay as I my client needed them straight away.

I later had a second slightly smaller job where I was able to ask for three other quotes and Digitalab were nearly twice as expensive for the same products on the 10 large scale prints I was ordering. I gave them the opportunity to explain why this was but they didn't reply so I ended up the job to One Vision.

I followed this e-mail up a few months later and they did reply but only apologised for not replying to it and said they would look into it and reply ASAP.

10 days later I still haven't heard from them so think they were just hoping to over charge me again so I decided to write this review. I imagine I paid nearly £1.5k too much on my initial job!

Very poor service which probably means I won't return.

Requested three small prints to be framed and two weeks on I still have not received them. My displeasure isn't with the product, it's with the lack of a functional customer service. Once they took my money I had no update on when my order would be ready. I had to ring twice to find out what was going on, and both times I came off the phone feeling like I was an inconvenience.

It's funny how their communication stops after they take your money isn't it.

Brilliant service and high quality product. They were helpful, fast turnaround and efficient. Very good customer service. They were accessible. I spoke to a real person who was very helpful.

Such a fast service on my latest orders and quality of prints are superb. Helpful, friendly staff when I call in to collect them. Many thanks to all at Digitalab!

Placed my first order here... no confirmation email or order update but money came out my account. Chased it up two weeks later as I hadnt received anything...to be told they cant download my images so can I send them in a different way via their website.
I asked to just cancel the order, they agreed to refund... but the prints turn up two days later?? Thankfully I hadn't already reordered with a different lab. Just wouldnt bother. Only giving 2* as the prints are ok.

I have used Digitalab over the last few years for exhibition matted prints, and have never been disappointed, they do bring my images to life!
I was also pleased this time that all the packaging was recyclable, good for everyone.

Came to leave a review for my favourite print company and could not believe someone has rated them 1*. I've used Digitalab for a few years now and their customer service is impeccable. If ever I have a query or want to convey an important message regarding an order, there is always an energetic, enthusiastic and happy voice on the other end of the phone. The products always arrive on time and are of the highest quality. Never had any issues with Digitalab and they are without doubt the professionals choice.

My experience with digitalab has been nothing short of an endless pain in the backside.

I ordered an album months ago and for weeks, received nothing. After chasing up and chasing up some more, I was told they were doing quality control tests on the embossing and then heard nothing for some more weeks until the album was eventually despatched.
When it arrived, not only was it not printed on the fine art paper that I had paid for, but the printing was pixelated and shoddy and the end paper had this awful texture. Definitely not a fine art album at all. My clients were very unhappy and when I emailed to ask why I had received the wrong paper and why the printing was pixelated, my emails were completely ignored.

Very sad as they look so reputable on their website and my original album company of choice was bought out by them so I’ll have to search elsewhere as I won’t be using them again.

Remarkably good professional quality prints - and phenomenal value. Beautiful quality matt and they match what I see on my monitor exceptionally well - in terms of colour matching and in terms of how dark/light they are. No surprises.

Only recently used digitalab to order some prints. I had left it until the last minute and didn't think the prints would arrive in time before Christmas to be able to send as a gift.

I was really pleased when they arrived the next day. Perfect quality prints of my photographs. The prints and service exceeded my expectations. Thanks digitalab for making my sisters Christmas that little bit more special. Will definitely order from digitalab in the future and I highly recommend.

Amazing quality for the price. Quick service. Can't beat it

This was my first experience with Digitalab and I received amazing service from the point of my initial contact with Laura to my further communication with Emma. The prints arrived from negs that hadn't seen daylight for 30 plus years and the quality of the prints, both Colour and Black and White were amazing. Having been a professional photographer for 30 plus years I can highly recommend Digitalab!!

Only recently discovered Digitalab but I would highly recommend them. My partner and I wanted high quality (but not overpriced) prints for our wedding album, and I was very impressed with Digitalab. Easy online platform to use, very high quality prints and fast delivery with Royal Mail. I immediately ordered another batch of photos!

The quality of the prints that have just arrived from Digitalab is outstanding. The colours, the crispness, the definition, the contrast are all just so good. After several years of messing about, trying but failing to find a reliable inkjet photo printer to use at home, I started to use online printers. Some were dismal, some adequate. But none came anywhere near the standard of this outfit. Digitalab's prices aren't bad, the website much the same as others, turnaround time ok, and with quality like this, there can be no reason to use anyone else.

Always first class printing. Colours are amazing. 4-Day turnaround to the Shetland Islands too. It really doesn't get much better than this.
