Customer service was horrific.
Girl who answered the phone had no customer service skills whatsoever.
Would never order from this company. Hopefully my refund does actually arrive. Spend more time making TikTok’s than actually sorting out orders.
Wish I read the reviews beforehand.

Purchased a ladder for a warehouse. Price was £700. Advertised as brand new. When arrived we were rushed by driver to sign and he drove off. When unpacking we discovered several damage all over and wear and tear use. Evidence sent to customer service team. They refuse to collect because we signed. We spent £700 for a premium product but with cow poo service and quality.

Awful company to deal with. Made the mistake of ordering from them not once but twice. Both times confirmed stock and delivery date prior to ordering for this date to come and go three times over. Still not received my items. Official complaint ignored. Worst company I have dealt with in the last 15 years. Anyone reading these reviews AVOID AT ALL COSTS as you will be let down/ lied to/ messed about. The only thing they can guarantee is your disappointment and frustration

Do not use this company especially Rachael the customer service agent. Placed an order for next day delivery in London (though this company will s more expensive than most for wheelie bins) as I urgently needed the items. Confirmed the address in London, and they entered a Manchester postcode not a London postcode despite me phonetically spelling out the address. Received a call from the driver in Manchester asking where I was (in London!). When I called the company Rachael the customer service agent did not apologise, did not offer to assist in getting the items out to me today, and would not let me talk to a manager. Her abruptness, rudeness, and unwillingness to help was shocking. I was told they couldn't do anything despite their mistake. Big fail, poor service and high prices - I do not recommend.

Placed an order for a wheelie bin at a total cost of £81.60 (having hidden the VAT add on until checkout!) They took my money instantly via PayPal then claimed they have no record of it when I had to cancel the order due to discovering that their bins are not rat proof. The order was confirmed as cancelled and I was assured the money would be refunded - however after still awaiting the refund 24hrs later I again contacted them to find they were now refusing a refund on the basis they can't find the money - how ludicrous!! I then filed a claim with Paypal (thankfully they have buyer protection!) and left a review on their facebook page which clearly ruffled feathers as I had a phone call within 1 hour and a refund within 2 hrs... Unfortunately the company did not leave it there as they took umbrage to my very legitimate negative reviews and one of their employees began phoning me to shout at me and try to get me to remove my negative review! When I refused and asked they stop harassing me I find that the employee left a fake 1 star libellous review on my business page claiming that I never fulfilled an order that was never created!! Suffice to say I have reported the individual and the company to the relevant authorities.

I feel that Direct2u ripped me off. I bought an expensive workbench from them for what I thought was the best price available. I admit I should have asked but their website does not say that prices shown exclude VAT. Also the confirmation email did not make it clear either. It was only after delivery that they sent a letter showing it clearly that I realised my mistake. By then it was too late as I had opened and assembled the item so I couldn't send it back. I'll never order from them again!
