I placed an order for a log cabin which…

I placed an order for a log cabin which was advertised with a 20% discount and received full order confirmation with payment taken via PayPal.

The following day, I was informed that the discount was a “system error” and asked to pay an additional £194 or cancel the order.

While I understand mistakes can happen, the price did not appear obviously incorrect, and the order had already been processed and confirmed.

What was particularly disappointing is that the company refused to offer any compromise or goodwill gesture, despite the inconvenience caused.

This experience has left me with little confidence in their pricing transparency and customer service. I would recommend caution when ordering.
This felt misleading and not in line with what I would expect from a reputable retailer!

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service - even late on a Sunday. Offered a solution to my problem and even had a back up plan in place just in case.

Can’t fault the service offered and would highly recommend this business.

Bad service here don’t order from them throw eBay

Poor poor service ordered a shed base kit on eBay from them day was ment to be delivered sent message saying they could not deliver as was not in area of delivery well never stated this in advert wording that we was nt in area of delivery poor and customer service poor too

satisfied customer.....

I bought a shed from directgardenbuildings ten months ago,, i had a problem after ten months with one of the double doors, i contacted them and sent photos of the problem,, i dealt with Kevin who was very helpful. after a couple of weeks of emails, Kevin was satisfied that it was a fault with the door and sent me a replacement door. thank you for your assistance..

Direct Garden Buildings (DGB)

Direct Garden Buildings (DGB) - I made the mistake of using this company to purchase an item via their Amazon store. This was a big mistake!! I ordered from here as it stated that delivery would be in 5 - 7 days, so by 28th February. On 28th Feb I had a message saying the item was out for delivery and would be with me by 8pm. It never arrived. I had arranged to work from home and was in all day waiting for it. I messaged DBG and didnt hear for a few days> *(they don't answer their phone). I have subsequently had to repeatedly email requesting a refund. They kept the item status as out for delivery on Amazon so I couldn't implement their refund process. They point blank refused to refund me, and eventually sent just part of the item!! Sent in an open package with no doubt parts missing. I'd had enough, I was having to email constantly, I just want my money back so that I can buy this item elsewhere. They have said they wont refund me unless I return the part of the order I have. Its a large bulky item so I would be seriously out of pocket if I paid for a courier to do this. In any event they are rude and unscrupulous so I wouldn't risk it as i am sure they will lie and say they haven't had it. They lied several times about sending the order. I still dont have the item I ordered, and am over £200 out of pocket. This company is very unreasonable and unhelpful to communicate with so please do not purchase from them - you wont get the item, will lose money, and a whole load of time trying to get a refund - something that I think is very reasonable to request in these circumstances. The worst company I have dealt with. I have let Amazon know. I will update this with my refund status so you can see how long it takes, but do bear in mind I have had to email several times a day, every day - not everyone has the time or will to do this.
