Based on my experience

Based on my experience, I would advise candidates to proceed with caution during the recruitment process with this company.

I was initially approached regarding a graduate finance/accounting opportunity. However, during the process I was directed towards purchasing an external Anti-Money Laundering (AML) qualification from third-party providers costing around £1,000, which was presented as a requirement before progressing further.

There was also a lack of clear information regarding the actual employer and role being offered, with multiple job descriptions referenced during discussions, including accounting and investment-related positions.

When I questioned the requirement to self-fund external training prior to employment, the focus remained on completing paid courses rather than progressing a standard recruitment pathway.

In my experience, this does not align with typical graduate recruitment processes, where training is usually provided or funded by the employer. I would recommend that applicants ensure full clarity on job details and any costs involved before engaging further.

Avoid Direct Requirement

Avoid Direct Requirement. I was contacted about what was presented as a genuine finance recruitment opportunity, but after progressing through the process they suddenly pushed me to buy a course before the interview could continue. It felt very misleading and unprofessional. The whole thing came across like a sales tactic rather than real recruitment. Be careful if they contact you claiming to recruit for finance companies.

Highly suspicious - do not trust!

Highly suspicious. I wouldn't recommend anyone trusting this company with their time or CV.

I was emailed out of the blue (having applied to finance roles on jobs boards) and got scheduled an "urgent" pre-screening interview. While in the "interview" I read on forums that others that had the same experience were eventually "encouraged" to buy a course from accreditedfinancecourses to continue with the recruitment process. I put the phone down immediately and would suggest any other unfortunate individuals to do the same. It looks like this trick has been used before with companies such as financerecruitersltd and recruitdirectltd. I suspect it is the same people.

Steer clear and report to ReportFraud uk if you feel it is appropriate.
