Based on my experience
Based on my experience, I would advise candidates to proceed with caution during the recruitment process with this company.
I was initially approached regarding a graduate finance/accounting opportunity. However, during the process I was directed towards purchasing an external Anti-Money Laundering (AML) qualification from third-party providers costing around £1,000, which was presented as a requirement before progressing further.
There was also a lack of clear information regarding the actual employer and role being offered, with multiple job descriptions referenced during discussions, including accounting and investment-related positions.
When I questioned the requirement to self-fund external training prior to employment, the focus remained on completing paid courses rather than progressing a standard recruitment pathway.
In my experience, this does not align with typical graduate recruitment processes, where training is usually provided or funded by the employer. I would recommend that applicants ensure full clarity on job details and any costs involved before engaging further.
