In December 2025 Bullying Chinese consumers
In December 2025, I purchased two cans of Aptamil Platinum Stage 2 formula milk powder through bade, an overseas shopping platform under Disapo.de Apotheke B.V. in China. Then in February 2026, I saw a recall notice from Aptamil on the internet. After checking, I found that the milk powder I bought was within the recalled batch. However, Disapo.de Apotheke B.V. claimed that according to Aptamil's policy, they refused to take back the empty cans for after-sales service on the grounds that the milk powder had been consumed. The domestic bade customer service, claiming to be an outsourced service, could only report the issue but not solve it, taking advantage of Chinese consumers.
What a ridiculous excuse! I have already consulted Danone, and their stance is that whether empty cans are recycled or not is up to the retailers to decide. Don't shift the blame for your company's strategy onto Danone! German Amazon and DM can both recycle empty cans, but your company won't! This is your company's after-sales attitude. Anyway, in China, your company's Bade overseas shopping brand has a very bad reputation now. When people mention Bade overseas shopping, they think of no after-sales service!
