Cant log my account anymore, email reset doesnt work, and recreating a new account doesn't work either. For every single thing I have to call support. Prices are high and keep increasing. Choose another insurance provider if you can.

I have to categorize this company as a scam. I wasn't able to get hold of anyone through any form of communication. I didn't even get to the stage of having my claim reviewed.
My partner cancelled our insurance in October 2022 when we left to return to Australia which they said they did but continued to charge us, we've since learned that they referred us to a debt collector agency because we have missed payments yet we closed our accounts before we left. Haven't heard back from them on WhatsApp which is the only convenient form on communication when you live on the other side of the world. 0/5 do not recommend, stay away from Ditzo, ASR, and any of their companies.
the customer service via whatsapp says that they will answer after max 2 hours. it took 3 days the first time and now it's been 2 days and they still haven't answered.
also: the first time they coudn't help with my problem although they should've been able to.
I don't want to spend hours trying to reach them by phone.
I'll consider another company next year
Worst insurance company. I paid for installment they manage to deduct 1 month from my account. Since im not using the installment they should return back the money to me. They keep on saying end of the month since the last time I discontinue with them. Until now they still given back my money. Thieft company!!!!
Ditzo has the worst customer service ever! I have been waiting for my insurance card for over 2 months! Live chat is never available. Whatsapp and Messenger only answer with automatic messages. And only in Dutch of course! On their website they say that they reply on whatsapp and messenger within 24 hours but they NEVER reply! This is horrible, 1 star review is even too much for this awful service!

Pathetic service. Long waiting times on the phone 45min average! I am busy as I type this for over an hour! Their mistake and they still have the gall to ask me to call back after I have resolved their mistake.
Don't sign up to Ditzo!

The worst experience I had in the Netherlands, i don’t recommend to anyone. 2 years after my cancellation and they are still trying to charge me for some medical act I did not do. I wasn’t even in the Netherlands when they claim I used the insurance. They don’t reply in WhatsApp and when they do they don’t answer my questions. Stay away from Ditzo!

I've been literally scammed by this sick system, my one 10min visit with a specialist (after getting a referral of course) has been charged without any shame as 3 visits of 20, 20, and 40min.
It's my 3rd year with Ditzo. Twice I payed for entire year in advance - no issue here, but this year I set-up a direct debit to have it paid automatically every month. WHAT A MISTAKE! They missed one payment and instead of talking to me first, they went directly to a 3rd party to make them get my money and threaten me with a court.
On the bright side, you can at least talk to them easily on WhatsApp, they respond within a day and speak English, which I think is quite a big advantage.
As most expats know the Dutch healthcare system is sick, so I guess there is no company that would provide you with a good quality services and at the end you need to choose a lesser evil.

I deregistered from the municipality of Amsterdam on the 31st of July (I did it online so I don't know how long it will take to have an official document from them) and they still charged me for the month of August when I am no longer living in the Netherlands. one of their agents was very unprofessional.
This doesn't seem fair to me.

The most terrible insurance I ever had: Never a clarity for what they charge you extra fee. If you ask it 3 times they will give you 3 different answers.If you have check in the hospital because sent by GP, they will sent you 4 pages questionnaire to figure out can they charge a third party, even it should be covered by insurance according to the policy. If you take Ditzo, you need a secretary to make administration for them, Nightmare, stay away.
I took a package with the coverage of medical expenses abroad because I travel a lot. But when I had an emergence during my holiday, I visited the hospital and afterwards contacted Ditzo and they rejected to pay me anything even though I had all the receipts and papers. They may seem to be cheap, but at the end they don't cover anything. I am definitely going to switch to other insurer for the next year. I regret that for 1 year I was using them.
Absolutely terrible customer service.
I was trying to sign up for their insurance. Being multinational, I was told to send documents through whatsapp after having called, emailed, and facebook messenger.
No confirmation received (with personal information and banking information included in the documents), only to receive messages nearly three weeks later asking for the exact same documents.
It's like messaging a brick wall --- you only get total radio silence or really useless broken responses.
Highly discourage anyone to use this.
I asked for permission to get treatment abroad before I have to pay 4000 euro, Ditzo asked to wait for 3 weeks before an answer, then the answer came to ask for more information and when I provided the information they asked for another 3 weeks to get reviewed!, and again and again, Ditzo forced my in a bad situation in middle between them and the hospital, I regret switching to DITZO
