Quite simply, a stress free service. Everything where possible, was done for me in the background.
Emails and notifications were clear and easy to follow.

A frustrating business to deal with. All incredibly helpful and communicative when doing the research on which online service to select, but once paid, communication is incredibly slow and feels like passed to a sausage factory.
The '21 working days' i felt was deliberately chosen so that when you look you read it as 3 weeks as in all my 40 years in business I have ever seen 21 days picked as a business days (nearly always less than 5 or a multiple of 5).
Also, on the drafting itself, I made a number of errors on the signing, but rather than covering them all in one mail, I had a mail with the first error, I replied in hours and then 2 or 3 days later I would get another mail with the next error which added weeks to the process.
Finally, I assume that as I have been asked for a review it has been filed, but they havent told me this, despite a number of email requests from me, and they havent given me any information as to how the process works from here on in.
Would not recommend them based upon my experience
I have just received the reply below which is helpful but not strictly accurate. It suggests that the solicitor had already been trying to contact me with queries, but thats not true - the first response from him appeared at 1.07pm today, after I had submitted my review

Many thanks to Stuart May, who has been absolutely wonderful and made my divorce happen without any stress, I would recommend to anyone using their services, my divorce came final yesterday and I couldn’t be more satisfied with Divorce online services, Stuart has responded to my emails really fast, and acted with all the circumstances right away.
I felt like he really cared ☺️

Divorce online was an easy and hassle free process. If you’re in an amicable position and able to agree circumstances why pay for expensive solicitors.

From the very beginning, Divorce Online was clear, professional, and easy to work with. They set up an online account where I could upload all the required documents, and the forms included detailed explanations, which made them straightforward to complete.
Whenever I made a mistake or needed to correct something, they contacted me promptly and clearly explained what I needed to do. Their guidance and communication made the whole process much easier to manage.
Going through the decision and process of divorce is not easy, but Divorce Online made everything easier to understand and less stressful. I am very grateful for their support and would happily recommend their service to others.
A special thank you goes to Laura Carr for being so proactive and diligent. Thank you.

Back in October 2025 I was looking for a company that would be able to provide me with a good service and manage my divorce for me as I knew it would be extremely stressful. Divorce online was amazing, from start to finish they kept me upto date with what they were doing answered all my questions even the ones I thought was silly. Everyone I had spoken to was friendly polite and always had time. When I applied for the divorce I was on UC so wasn't sure if they would be able to help, they talked me through what they can do for me and what I would need to do if anything. Very good service and communication and if anyone is looking to get a divorce definitely use divorce online.

Over all the service I received from Divorce-Online was really good. The majority of my questions (and there were a lot) were answered promptly by Stuart and Laura, who were both very patient with me. There's a few things I'd do differently if I could travel back in time and go through this rollercoaster again (not that I would want to!) Firstly, I'd seriously consider doing this as a joint application, rather than a solo one. The problem with doing a solo application is that when the courts communicate certain things, they'll do so to Divorce-Online, and your soon to be ex-spouse. This meant that when it came to getting the conditional order (decree nici), the rejection or acceptance of the financial order, and the final order (decree absolute)I got to find these things out via my spouse, because it takes a little time for Divorce-Online to receive and then communicate these things over. Considering I was the one paying for this, this was hardly ideal. Again, this is not a fault on Divorce-Online's part, it's just the way it is, but a joint application I'm sure would have meant we learnt about these things at the same time, and in our case would have made little difference on every other respect. Now, I also need to stress that this process only works if you and your ex are amicable, which for me was the case, if you are not then this service likely is not for you, bear this in mind. If there are disagreements, I would imagine the wheels are going to fall off. I would also say that even if you are not sharing pensions, they are still counted as assets and you will need to agree a split that sees them left alone. Regardless, you'll need CETVs for your pensions, and the timing of getting these was what really slowed things down for me. If you have civil service type pensions, or NHS, or anything like that, start requesting them around 6 months before you're due to complete and send off the financial order, 3 months for any other type of pensions, again this is just my recommendation, they should be valid for a year from receipt, so time it right and don't be waiting like I was. Again, as for Divorce-Online, they handled everything very well, and in the end it was just CETVs and the courts that slowed things down. I really hope I don't need this service again, but it's good to know that this service exists.

I have nothing but praise for Divorce Online. I went through a divorce, and also a financial consent order with them. Everything was transparent. There was always an understanding member of staff on the end of the phone for guidance when things weren't clear, and emails were always responded to very promptly.
Thank you to Stuart, Laura, Victoria and Nikki and anybody else who I might have communicated with, for making a stressful process a little less stressful.
