We have placed our order for sliding doors in May this year. Despite getting a commitment on a 12-14 week delivery timeline prior to paying our deposit, we are still waiting and are not getting any updates on what we can expect.

We can't get through to the person in charge of our delivery, and keep being put off with false promises that we will hear back from the person in charge soon.

By now this has put the entire build of our new home on hold. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed in DK windows and would recommend steering clear of this supplier.

We will update this review with any new (hopefully positive) developments.

DK installed new windows and doors throughout our house. From start to finish the level of customer service and professional has been superb. As for the finished project, the quality of our window doors totally exceeded our expectations. We’ve had a number of neighbours ask already where we got our ‘gorgeous’ front door. Im we are beyond happy to recommend.

DK Windows installed new windows and doorsdoors in our house in May of this year. The installation and professionalism of the whole service was second to none. Friendly staff in the showrooms, who were on hand to answer any questions and explained thoroughly the qualities of their windows & doors. The installation staff were professional, thorough, efficient and clean when fitting the windows.

I would highly recommend.

Terrible terrible company to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 56,000 worth of windows and doors from them, and at the beginning the sales team were on the ball. Very friendly and prompt communication until they got me signed up. After that it became increasingly difficult to get in touch with someone. It took a month to actually get the surveyor out to measure the windows, and when the order went in I was assured it would be another 12 weeks to wait for the windows, which is fine. When I went in at 10 weeks to get a final date of installation, ONLY THEN was I told it would be a further 6 weeks on top of that, and now I have been told it will probably be 8 weeks delay instead of 6 weeks. Nobody picked up the phone at any stage to explain these delays to me, I have complained, and tried to contact and got no response from management who are supposed to be managing this team- the buck stops with them. This has had a hugely detrimental effect on my new build, will have knock-on effects for me financially, and has been a real waste of time. I really hope they can do something to mitigate this problem and am awaiting a response.

Very professional company to deal with lovely showroom Dylan was very helpful and was excellent to deal with. Gave us great advice for what would suit are house. fitters Dave and Pavel we’re excellent left the house spotless after they were finished everything from start to finish was excellent couldn’t be more happy and won’t hesitate to recommend DK Windows & Doors in the future

I previously gave this company a 1 star rating ( 2nd. August ) , mainly because of communication issues . DK windows almost completed our project yesterday .
Although the job isn't fully completed , I have no complaints about the workmanship . The fitters , were very friendly , worked very hard and took all the rubbish with them . The finished product was excellent . Maybe the fitters should run the company , as well as fit windows .
Unfortunately , DK have yet to fit a front door and a small window . I was unable to get a date for these and am hoping they can do them next week ( I'll get back to you on that ). Unfortunately , it means I have to get back on the blower to them on Monday and hope someone will talk to me. A touch of --deja vu --" big deja vu ".

DK windows did a fantastic job on my windows and front door. It took a while to get there but the finished project is exactly how we wanted it to be.

I popped into the showroom after seen my neighbour got a new door from Dk windows , fell in love with a door for my home so decided to change my door and windows, placed an order with a guy called Alan very helpfull lovely man, fitters that came and did the work were lovely guys (forget their names) left my home spotless and I'm very happy with the work and the make over to front of my home. I will be getting the back done next year when i get more funds together.

Even with a call out from the surveyor, and an agreed price, they continued to request even more money for our hall door. We had signed documents, paid 50% deposit, and yet they reneged on our agreement. DO NOT waste your money, nor time with this crowd. 24th August update …not only am I STILL waiting for my refund…. they have not answered my last 5 emails.

Very happy - good service and price. I live on the 1st floor and most other companies will not service flats above the ground floor.

Went DK windows and doors and we are absolutely delighted with how they turned out, we got windows ,a new front door and French doors ,part of the crew that came to fit them were Stephen and Austin and they were very professional Clean,efficient,friendly and excellent at their job. Nothing was too much trouble. All the team were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.We would highly recommend DK windows and doors. We will definitely be going back to get the rest of our house done.

DK Windows and Doors are fantastic. The man who came to measure was so friendly and helpful. Darren who installed the door was so efficient, tidy and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Dk windows were amazing to deal with. Very professional and came to fit a new window for us. The first piece of glass was made wrong by the manufacturer and they came back within two weeks to redo. Great, fast and efficient service!

Shopped around and went to DK windows. Spoke to Geoff and he was really good. Was given an install date. With a couple of hours notice I received a call to say that my product received damage. It would be a week later for install. 2 guys arrived and did the install. They identified damage and reported it back to the office. I chased and chased and they came out to replace the glass. The second glass they brought down was again damaged. Again I chased and chased. Eventually we got it resolved. Next thing this week I receive a legal email to make contact to pay a balance. Ring me!!! Just a real bad end to a shocking after sales experience.

I had Stephen and Paul working on my windows and door. They were fantastic and did an excellent job. I’m delighted with the work. They were on time, pleasant, friendly, helpful and clean. I’d highly recommend dk windows.

In 2016 we contracted DK windows for a job valued at €19,295 - at the time (a lot of money) for aluclad windows, door & large sliding door for renovation work at our home. Initially the company were professional to deal with but that’s where it ends. We had an issue with how the large slider wasn’t sliding with ease & coincidentally all the floors around this door is cracking, the side door is of very poor quality, seals keep hanging off & issues with how it closes but the biggest issue of all is with the 9 x openings on the windows - the windows only have 1 seal (have since been redesigned and now have 2!!) this means insects & flies etc can harbour in the space between the opening and the mullion - & on opening window, the fly’s etc fly in to the house - I wish I could share the videos here of this problem as it is absolutely horrific not to mention disgusting - it is a major problem - DK initially suggested retro fitting a 2nd seal when they eventually came to us about it - but the carpenter employed by DK who they sent to survey & do the job said that it wasn’t possible not to mention a suitable solution and since then DK have washed their hands of the problem & have been utterly horrendous to deal with. I sincerely hope this review stops some other poor unfortunate genuine person from using this company who have left genuine clients high & dry, with no solution. I am happy to share all the info on this case including an independent review from a chartered building surveying company, videos of the issues, access to emails & messages to and from DK to show how bad they are to deal with and even will consider giving people a sight visit to show what we are dealing with. Unfortunately even though we have proof, reports and several independent expert opinions etc we have been advised by 2 independent law firms that to take this to court would cost us more that what the windows cost. Now we are left with this major problem and mismatched windows in our home (we were to hoping to replace the other windows in the house in time when we had the money to do so). We will never be dealing with DK again and would not be at all happy to recommend them as a company to deal with. I hope this review is helpful.

The Job was done in 2016 - we raised the problems straight away (have proof , we were getting no where for a long time with the company (have proof), we then got reports done on the work by independent experts, sought legal advice etc it’s taken me until now to accept we have been left high & dry. We gave DK every opportunity to give us a solution before going down this road of writing public reviews but they left us with no alternative - we have been left with no choice other than to make potential clients aware - we paid premium price for a premium product in good faith so I want to save other people from the same loss/dreadful experience.

Dk windows initially installed a patio door for us in 2021. There after service for a problem with it was excellent. On that basis we replaced allnour windows and front door. Michael the sales rep was excellent and assured me that after service support was part of their ethos . This was proven again this Friday 4pm when there was an issue with the front door and DK really helped again.

Love my new door that DK installed for me in Sandyford this week. From the initial meeting, the ongoing engagement and the final fit, everything happened as it was supposed to. The finishing was fantastic, even down to the detail of patching up the plint on either side of the door and adding studs to support us levelling our floor to meet the door that replaced our porch. Would highly recommend

I’ve used this company twice now and I have to say right from the beginning from ringing them to calling to the shop to the install, they have been so nice and professional, I’ve had two doors and 4 windows on one property and one door on another, the installers were pleasant and the job was neat and clean, would definitely recommend 👍🏼
