I enjoy my visits to Dobbies. The staff throughout the store are always friendly, polite and helpful.
The selection of merchandise is always well laid out and a pleasure to browse around.
The restaurant is always clean and tidy. I do think the tray-bakes are rather expensive.

Always found them to be helpful and friendly. Reserved a bbq for me to pick up following day when another company messed me about, should have just stuck with Dobbies from the start!

The shop has been reorganised and it’s easier to get around

Coffee and scones at a reasonable price in a pleasant setting. Dog friendly area is a big plus.
Flower and plant area set out well and general shopping area is clean, airy and spacious.

Lovely store in Aberdeen which has a fantastic selection of goods. Sadly, on this occasion the item I wanted (Premier Seed Mix) was not available. I’m not keen on the restaurant. Food often gets cold queuing for coffee/tea and then queuing to pay.

Dobbies restaurant is always so busy . However when asking staff about or for something they are never too busy to help. I just wish they didn’t need to run around due to which seems lack of staff

The restaurant closed on day of visit, this would have been helpful if this had been posted outside the shop.
Always find the till receipts difficult to figure out (did I get the reductions, offers etc)

Coffee machine needed fixing , too slow and messy , cup were not clean enough , had to put five cups back before finding a clean one ..not good enough , table also needed cleaning .

The lady that was dealing with my request was not very nice and was opnocksius with me. I am for a LONG time a member, but i was not very happy to hear what she had to say.

I like Dobbies because there is a large variety of garden and houseplants on display. The staff are very helpful.

I was able to pay for my membership easily . Good coffee shop and great plant display

I am a Dobbies Plus member so had a lovely coffee and cakes with the birthday treat voucher. Well worth it. Also bought a plant for our garden. Has a big variety of items on sale. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Sometimes prices on items more than I wish to pay. But like taking the opportunity to buy items in the sale. Visited the new Waitrose. Bought a stir fry. Good price.

Visited Dobbies Aberdeen today, arrived at the restaurant at 310pm with my wife, planning to have something to eat and drink. We joined the queue, there were a selection of paninis on display that would require to be heated for a short period, we planned to have a panini a cake and a coffee each. I waited until the customer before me cleared the area with their hot bacon and brie panini, and was just about to ask for 2 x bacon and brie paninis before one of the staff of 4 said to me "we have stopped serving food at 3pm" I said oh and looked at the customer just before me who had clearly received theirs well after 3pm. At that point we decided not to bother wasting our money here.

So in summary. Nowhere could i see, food stops at 3pm, they clearly served someone after 3pm and have to question if there are a dozen paninis on display why not just sell them or take them away. I am sure one of the 4 staff standing chatting could have popped them in to heat.

Been a Dobbies reward scheme member since it started, and unfortunately we are continually disappointed every time we visit this restaurant recently.
