Great sale prices
Great value sale items, but I think usual prices are expensive. I would have liked a faster service in the cafe. All staff very pleasant though.

Visit to restaurant
It's always nice to visit, but the restaurant is very old and service can be very slow we had coffee it was so weak it had no taste at all we had a scone it looked like a biscuit and not very nice.
Love a bit of Dobbies time
It's always such a lovely escape, dog-friendly, and very calming.

Good quality products and a wide range. However, my reward points should have been taken off the total at the till but the assistant told me l needed a physical voucher, not just my loyalty card. l then received another reminder to use my reward before the end of the month, which clearly stated what the assistant needed to do with the card to deduct the amount. Now l need to shop again to make use of it.

Staff welcoming
Staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. A wide range of plants, bulbs and seeds and everything else needed for gardening. A nice restaurant with lovely staff, I always look forward to seeing them.
Lovely food
Disappointed …
My visit to the cafe was a great disappointment. I queued a long time & thought I would treat myself to a coffee & fruit tart. Unfortunately the tart was just about inedible & way past its best. The pastry was wet & soggy & the fruit wrinkled & tasteless. If I’d had time I would have taken it back but the queue was too long
Brighton store is expensive and run down
The Brighton store is well laid out with a good selection of products and plants, but the prices are very high. I found a pair of Kent and Stowe loppers I liked in store but ordered them from Amazon instead as they were £13 cheaper. Most plants were also very overpriced - even those in their clearance section were around £10 each despite looking half dead.
I must also give feedback on the cafe. It is extremely run down, the ceiling tiles are covered in mould and stains from a leak. The wooden worktop where staff prepare drinks and food is covered in black mould. The customer toilets are disgusting. One of the main benefits of your membership are the 'free' hot drinks, but when the cafe is this unpleasant it is off-putting. As a result I won't be renewing my membership next month.

Bank holiday weekend we’ve booked a cream tea which meant we sandwiches, coffee and cake we arrived at the Caffe. The tables were disgustingly dirty. The lady who serve us so rude, said that we could’ve reserved a table by phone, but we did even though they put a reserve sign on a table for us. Then she bought out this really poor excuse of a scone with cream in that was squirted cream not even Devon cream clotted cream and explain to us that we could not of booked over the phone and that we were liars
