Dobbies has a great plant area. There are a variety of things to look at. The cafe has a dog friendly area which was a bonus for us, as we visited whilst on holiday.

Found some great bargains - plants that looked past their best that I have coaxed back to life with some TLC. Restaurant still less than perfect with slow service and cutlery not topped up but as a garden centre all good.

Play area wasn’t open for us to use. The restaurant Que is always never ending it takes half a hour to order a free hot drink. Not impressed

Always a long wait to place an order in the restaurant -more staff needed as people walk away & they are losing customers. The shelves in the new Waitrose have hardly any stock & chilled cabinets half empty. That could be due to high prices - was much better as a Sainsbury’s.

Came for a wander and called in at the tea room wish we hadn't, cups filthy milk jug cracked place very shabby. One mistake I shall not repeat

We enjoy every visit to Dobbies, as we always manage to find what we need for our little garden.
Not to mention the delicios cakes and hot drinks we love. Thank you Dobbies

Lots of plants in good condition. Prices still high compared to other local garden centres.
Really needs an extension to the size of Atherstone.

Dobbie’s is great for plants and the restaurant is excellent. The restaurant staff are always courteous and helpful.
It is disappointing when the soft play area is frequently closed because this stops us enjoying a coffee while the little one plays.

The restaurant can be frustratingly slow and often runs out of items on the menu, however today I had the best experience EVER. A new member of staff CHARLOTTE served me. So professional, helpful and friendly. I’ve never had such prompt, brilliant service. Well done Charlotte.

Waited for 25 mins to get 2 coffees and then they where only lukewarm.Could’nt be bothered to rejoin the queue again 😝

Only went in to change a gas bottle and out of 3 staff members only 1 was pleasant and that was a young girl at the til. The other 2 were abrupt, and rude in as much as they shouted instructions at us treating us like we were annoying them!

I couldn’t even finish what I was saying before they flatly told me ‘ we don’t have any gas, we don’t know when we’ll get any more’ before I even asked. Their whole demeanour was awful and definitely did not demonstrate good customer service!!

Goes without saying that we will not be returning!!

12;00 today at the Derby cafe which is half full and it took 26 minutes to order food and pay! Also, no hot food and the play area is closed…because it’s school holidays?

The staff in the restaurant are always friendly and polite. The girl I dealt with at the till was very friendly

Service at cafeteria was painfully slow. Most people in queue were complaining.

the garden centre is good but the cafe is just not up to standard the food took a long time to arrive and mine was burnt and over cooked the chips that my friends had looked horrible and over cooked, next time if I go to the cafe I will stick to coffee and cake.

waited in a cue of two with one person serving for fifteen minutes. Ordered two bacon, brie and cranberry toasties and two coffee's, twenty minutes later our order arrived. The toastie were a soggy tasteless disgusting mess with a tiny bit of fatty bacon inside.
The resturant has lots of flies in and cutlery was not clean either. Expensive rubbish. Avoid

I visited the Dobbies Garden centre today and found a wonderful helpful lady called Lisa who packaged up fresh scones for me. What a delightful kind woman who was so pleased to help. She makes the best fresh scones.

I was delighted in the choice of plants available but was disappointed that when I started to plant out the soil in all the pots were bone dry I had to give all a good soaking before I could precede
