I wrote a review at some length & don’t wish to do so again

Friendly helpful staff,lovely shopping experience

Had a lovely meal in restaurant.Fish and chips.And Jacket potato with beans. Could you do skinny chips ?

Always helpful staff on hand to help or answer questions , store always clean & tidy

We stopped off en route to Devon for a coffee and cake in your coffee bar on Wednesday last and had quite a long wait to be served. There was only one young lady serving and she was doing her very best but she really needed help. At one time she had to go into the kitchen (ducking under tape affixed to the door opening) to collect fresh cups. There was an older lady sometimes clearing tables but that wasn’t very swift. I do think there should be two people in the coffee bar at all times.

I cued for a cup of tea and a toasted teacake at the counter but was told I couldn't order a toasted teacake there I needed to go to the restaurant side.

May sound trivial but thought they could have easily provided this for me as it was on the end of the counter where I was cueing.

I also needed some houseplant potting compost. I looked myself and couldn't find any so I asked an assistant who said if you had any it would be by the houseplants. That was all the help she offered.

The lady on the till was more helpful she radioed through to someone and eventually was told you didn't have any.

I hope my comments are helpful to you and enable you to provide a better experience for customers.

I didn’t plan to buy a tree but found just what i had been after for some time. Even better it was 20% off for club plus members. The kind assistant assured me it would fit in my car and didn’t need delivery. He carried the tree out to my car and managed to stow it safety inside. Great service.

Great food, excellent service.

The plants are always in good condition and looked after well. The main thing is that the staff are really friendly.

The members of staff I spoke with were helpful and courteous.

I knew what I wanted to buy. I was able to get one item, no problem. The other item was available but cost more than I was willing to pay.

I took my two grandchildren along to 'little seedlings' the focus was around garden birds. Louise was very friendly, and good with the children, so thank you.

Just a relaxed Sunday morning experience. Coffee and cake in the coffee shop, a mooch round in pleasant surroundings and a friendly, helpful chap at the checkout. What’s not to like? We didn’t go for anything specific.

Always great to be in store. Staff helpful and friendly.

Food was cold and had run out of certain things like mushrooms etc we had already paid and asked to speak to someone in charge but no one came so left
