Shopping was very good but poor service in the cafe. Told at 1pm there’d be a 45 minute wait for hot food and they weren’t busy. We left and went elsewhere. Disappointing as we’ve never eaten there before.

The food and coffee was lovely. The only downside was that the coffee could do with being hotter. The service was great.

No tomatoes in shop. So lost a star!

would love to know when the upgrade is starting as the sad cafe is neither warm nor welcoming and the cappucinos were lukewarm too

We visited Dobbies to purchase a fire pit. We asked an assistant for help as the item was large and awkward to move. The assistant was very helpful and helped us to get it into the car commenting that it was a pleasure to help.

We go to Dobbies once a month for our free coffee, the ladies in the cafe are always very friendly. Then we have a wander around looking at all the lovely plants and gifts that are for sale. There is always lots to look at.

I have been going to Dobbies for years. The staff are always very helpful and friendly- the other day I needed some help with soil bags due a bad back and someone helped me- though most times I have bought compost I have always been offered assistance.

I go to Dobbies a lot- the staff recognise me and I feel I get a very good service.

Bought a wooden planter which is high quality. Unfortunately our local branch in Reading was out of stock but we passed by the Andover centre where we found what we had been looking for. We were struck by how much greater the choice and apparent quality of all kinds of stock was in that store in comparison with the Reading store..

As usual everyone was friendly and efficient. My "birthday treat" went well and a mooch around the store followed where I picked up an item I wanted and my companion (after getting help from an assistant) picked up what she wanted.

Really hope, now Covid-19 seems to be liveable with I'll be able to get there more often!

Usally good service and helpful staff makes visiting Dobbies an enjoyable experience.

Our recent visit to our local Dobbies for a pack of bulbs cost us over £90 after discount 😊
As always we find everything we need plus 1 or 2 items extra.
I must say the bulbs and Mimi plants for our hanging baskets are excellent quality and should make a beautiful display later in the year. We also stocked up on a few terracotta pots and some fertilizer. We are lucky because our Dobbies has a good grocery section and an excellent butcher where we purchased some wonderful looking belly of pork to make into streaky 🥓. After all this shopping we needed a sit down for a coffee and delicious 🥓 roll.

I had afternoon tea with three friends just before Christmas. So much delicious food! It might not have been as posh as some we’ve had in the past but definitely best value. Staff were amazing!

Always a pleasure to shop in Dobbies, relaxing shopping with a good coffee. Sainsburys a handy bonus.
