My self and my partner had been having issue with a management company that were complete unprofessional and left us with a lack of confidence about going through another estate agent/ management company however.... from start to finish Dockleys have been nothing short of spectacular. Our viewing was arranged by Ben, our viewing was hosted by Adam and our ongoing management has been taken up by Emma.

All three have been professional, helpful and informative.

I couldn’t speak of Dockleys highly enough.
They have really renewed our confidence that there are good estate agents out there that take pride in their work.

Despite a difficult, slow and painful sale) nothing to do with Dockleys), Adam remained positive and proactive, ensuring the needs of both vendor and seller were considered and expectations met. After sale care was excellent and a year later he has remained in touch to ensure all continues to go well. He really goes the extra mile and clients benefit from his local knowledge and understanding of the processes involved. Cheerful and clearly well-intentioned, Adam is committed to making things work. Chloe was nothing but helpful and professional from the word go. I wanted a Help to Buy property and Chloe and I used to touch base with each other every few days to see if there was anything available on the market that I was interested in. Chloe couldn't do enough for me and really went above and beyond to ensure I got what I was looking for and made sure that I had all the support I needed during the purchase of my flat. Even when Chloe was away, Adam was at hand to help in any way that he could and push the sale and contractors along as much as possible. I would 100% use them again and have recommended them to many of my friends. Definitely not your regular estate agents- they care about their customers and they are extremely personable and on the ball. The customer care is second to none!

I would recommend Adam and his company to anyone wishing to buy or sell, let or rent in the London area. His knowledge of the property market is second to none and he has genuine credibility in an industry which is not known for such values.

Adam is great at sales, but admin is slow. He found us a fab flat and put our old flat up for rent quickly. He is efficient and super personal. But I am hesitant to review any higher at this stage as I received my first months rent (as a landlord) over a week late. This month it has been 9 days since rent was due and I am still waiting. I hope this is resolved soon..

I originally bought my flat through Adam Dockley about 10 years ago, back when he was working for an estate agency in Canary Wharf. He did a really good job at finding exactly what I was looking for and negotiating a good price so, when it came to sell the flat this time, I searched his name in Google and found that he was now running his own agency. It didn't surprise me to be honest. The man works so hard that I wonder when he sleeps!

I should point out that I now live overseas so co-ordination of the sale was always going to be difficult, but this didn't phase Adam in the slightest. We went to view the property on a visit back to the UK and within a week it was on the market and on the website. The pictures looked great and Adam had loads of creative ideas about what to do to generate interest. Very soon after this we were getting viewings (kudos to Chloe for her great feedback and energy) and it was not long before we had an offer within arm's reach of the asking price. Good news all round.

Paperwork and conveyancing followed soon after and then we hit a snag. I had been poorly advised years ago about not requiring planning permission for an alteration made to the usage of the apartment. This meant a retrospective application and a delay of 8-12 weeks. Trying to facilitate this from the other side of the world was not easy in the slightest.

Again, Adam showed why he is so good at what he does. He was cool and calm, telling me what I needed to do and promising to look after the buyers and make sure they were happy and up to speed with what was going on. I think most sales would have fallen through at this stage but somehow, between us, we managed to hold things together.

A few months and several 5am visits to site later and the sale was completed. I honestly don't think it would have happened without Adam and the team at Dockleys and I'm very thankful to them for their work. I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend Dockleys to anyone. (In a sector of, frankly, embarrassing mediocrity), Dockleys really are a class act.

Adam is amazing to work with, understood that my husband and I were nervous first time buyers and so had endless patience, taking time to meet or call to talk through all stages of the process. We couldn’t thank him or recommend him enough!

I was extremely impressed by Dockleys when I bought a property through them. There were a number of issues with my sale and purchase but Adam worked really hard to make sure it got over the line. Even though Adam was acting for the vendor and not me, I found he was the only person in the process that actually seemed interested in making it happen. He kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I knew what was happening at every stage – even giving advice on my sale. He had a positive approach and found a solution every time an issue arose. Post-completion, Sue from the Hertfordshire office liaised with the vendor and answered all our questions to help us settle in.

I can’t recommend Dockleys highly enough and won’t hesitate to use them in the future.
