A genuine company which excells in product knowledge

I chose a re-seller of Lawmate products over buying direct from the UK importer DogCamSport, and its a massive regret. I contacted Dogcam, and Martyn and Mark have been absolutely amazing, sorting out a replacement of my BU18 camera, and reassuring me on the future of these products. I would have no hesitation in buying anything from Dogcam in the future.

100% Service and no less.

I have been a customer of Dogcamsport (DCS) now for a number of years, starting off with the original RoadHawk RH1 camera and then upgrading to the DC1 as my new "front" camera when it came on the market.

Rather than dispose of the RH1, I moved it to the rear shelf where it has watched my car's tail for another 1 or 2 years (and in which time many cars have stopped tail-gating when the driver has seen the camera pointing at him/her and in fact continues to protect to this day).

At no time did either camera cause a problem until Google suddenly changed their mapping programme and the RH1 was unable to register my GPS location on the software. All that appeared in the map panel were a load of Chinese type hieroglyphics.

I emailed Martyn, Pearce, the technical manager at DCS and immediately received an email back explaining that because Google had altered their programming, it had impacted on the RoadHawk mapping by stopping it from running as previously.

To overcome the problem I was offered the new HD camera as a trade-in deal for the RH1 and a very generous px was quoted - so a deal agreed and completed in a very efficient manner by DCS.

Upon receipt, the HD camera was installed as the new "front" unit with the DC1 being relegated to the back shelf in place of the RH1.

So why do I say 100% service, well its all because the HD camera I received developed an obscure fault about 3 months later on, so another email to Martyn and after sending a download log of the camera operating parameters they asked for the camera to be returned for checking. The same day that they received the camera they emailed me back to say that a fault had been detected by the technician and that a replacement was on its way - true to their word it arrived within 48 hours and after road testing today it seems to be working perfectly.

I had also experienced a problem with the playback of the recorded HD files in a continuous stream and I thought it was related to their software, but again with their help I was able to identify a totally unrelated banking programme on my computer that was having a very detrimental firewall type effect on the RoadHawk application. Once this was uninstalled the RoadHawk programme was back to speed. Again it was the knowledge and help from Martyn that pointed me towards the resolution.

Congratulations DCS on both your product knowledge and service.

UNACCEPTABELE EXPERIENCE

Hi
I order 2 cam´s from DOGCAMSPORT.CO.UK, after 2 weeks without hearing anything from them, I wrote to them to ask where my parcel was ??
So they wrote that they did not send GOPRO 3 out of the UK and the other was in the residual order (it was not when I ordered), I forgot to tell that DOCAM had cash-in money on my visa card all ready.
Nowhere on their website says that they do not send GOPRO 3 out of UK and ROADHAWK stood on the website as in stock for at least a week after I ordered.
They did not contact me, I contacted them otherwise I might not have got my money back. A company that raises money without sending the package (that is what they do for a living) is in my opinion very unreliable and I will not do business with the company again.
