Dog Stories is brilliant. The staff are all top class, efficient, friendly and polite, and my little dog Bertie simply loves going there. Pickups and drop offs always punctual, Bertie can’t wait to set off with whoever collects him. I get lovely pictures and video of him playing with other dogs, and being called for treats. He arrives home well exercised and very happy (and so am I). Maureen. Englefield Green

Bonnie, my show cocker spaniel, has attended Dog Stories since she was a baby. The puppy training course was excellent and the follow up through the daycare provision has reinforced good social habits and behaviour.

Bonnie is now a very well socialised 2 year old who is a joy to be with. She loves going to ‘school’ so much that I have kept up a regular twice a week pattern for her.

Not only has Bonnie made doggie friends as well as human ones, we also feel we know who she mixes with at school. Feedback from each day is great. An added bonus is the boarding provision. Bonnie is so happy boarding with her trainers.

I cannot recommend Dig Stories enough. Their facilities, training, care and communications with owners are all excellent.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the excessive barking that has been occurring consistently from dogs boarded at a staff members' home through your dog boarding service. As a resident living in close proximity to your employee, the incessant noise has become a severe disturbance to the peace and tranquility of our neighbourhood.

While I understand that barking is an inherent behaviour in dogs, it is the responsibility of a reputable and licensed dog boarding company to mitigate such disturbances for the well-being of the animals and the community. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that Dog Stories Ltd. is providing unlicensed dog boarding services, wherein dogs are boarded at the homes of your staff members.

This practice is clearly against the regulations set forth by the UK dog boarding industry, which were established to ensure the safety, welfare, and proper care of animals entrusted to boarding facilities. Licensing requirements exist for a reason—to guarantee that adequate standards are met and adhered to, including the provision of a suitable environment, qualified staff, and appropriate facilities for the animals.

By engaging in unlicensed dog boarding at staff members' homes, Dog Stories Ltd is not only compromising the safety and welfare of the dogs under your care but also undermining the trust of your clients and endangering the reputation of your business. It is essential that you immediately rectify this situation by ceasing the unlicensed dog boarding activities and taking the necessary steps to obtain the appropriate licensing for your establishment.

Furthermore, I implore you to implement measures that effectively address the issue of excessive barking, including professional training, behavioral assessments, and adequate exercise routines to minimise the disturbance caused to the surrounding community. It is crucial that you ensure all dogs boarded through your services are in a controlled environment that complies with the regulations and does not disrupt the peace and harmony of the neighborhood.

I trust that Dog Stories Ltd. will take this complaint seriously and make the required changes to bring your operations into compliance with the UK dog boarding regulations. Failure to do so will leave me with no choice but to report the violation to the appropriate authorities and seek further legal action if necessary.
