CAUTION - no reimbursement without Dr note

CAUTION - For new and intermediate skiers, buying multiple days for the ski lift pass at once is risky and unnecessary. It is almost impossible to get a refund for unused ski pass days if injured, sick or sore (borderline scam). Just buy each ski lift pass the day before you go (they won’t sell out) and it’s super easy to pick up the pass (self-serve kiosk).

I bought multiple days at once ($100/80eu per day). I bruised my rib on the first day, and was way too sore to ski any of the days afterwards. For reimbursement, they require a note from a medical professional in the dolomite ski area verifying you shouldn’t ski with this injury (but also no reimbursement for others in party who aren’t injured fyi).

After a day of rest, I painfully walk up to the main office and they tell me this. So I ask to see their medical staff, but they have none. They say I need to see a Dr in town. The closest one is 15mins away and closed. Also the cost to see the Dr could be 60-120eu! They won’t refund me even though I’m in physical pain and I just feel scammed (insult to injury). In Colorado, they refund unused lift passes no questions asked.

So I hope others read this and just buy your lift pass day by day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear that your holiday was affected by an injury, and we sincerely wish you a full and speedy recovery.

We would like to clarify our refund policy. As outlined in our General Terms & Conditions, ski passes are generally non-refundable. A partial refund can only be granted in the case of a confirmed skiing accident and requires a medical certificate issued by a doctor practicing in the Dolomiti Superski area or by a public medical facility/hospital, confirming that the injury prevents further skiing. Accompanying persons are not eligible for reimbursement, as their ski pass remains valid and can be used independently of the injured person.

These requirements are not intended to create additional inconvenience, but to ensure equal and fair treatment for all our guests. By applying the same clearly defined criteria and documentation standards in every case, we guarantee transparency and consistency in our decisions.

We understand that, in an already difficult situation, arranging a medical visit may feel burdensome. However, an official medical confirmation is essential for us to objectively assess eligibility for reimbursement and to uphold the same standards for everyone.

Our terms and conditions are available prior to purchase so that guests can make an informed decision about the ticket type that best suits their individual needs.

We truly hope you are feeling better and that we may have the opportunity to welcome you back to the Dolomites in the future under better circumstances.

Best regards

I had a terrible experience

I had a terrible experience. I bought a dolomiti superski pass for 6 days. On day 4 my pass was not working so I had to buy a new pass. I mistakenly bought a val gardena pass and went up seceda to meet my ski instructor. It turns out I needed to upgrade my pass to the wider dolomiti area as we were going to do sella ronda that day with the instructor. However, i was not allowed to upgrade my pass and had to buy another pass to ski with my group. I ended up buying 3 passes for the same day. Such a waste of money and terrible service from everyone!

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been.

If a ski pass card is not functioning properly, it can be replaced free of charge at any point of sale. Our staff can check the card and issue a replacement without the need to purchase a new pass.

We would like to review your case in detail. Please contact us directly with your pass details and receipts so we can look into this further and assist you.

Assuming Customer Service

I encountered hiccups in the payment and contacted Customer Service to ensure all went OK. I included and mentioned the voucher that said payment was successful, but the Customer Service told me payment was unsuccessful nevertheless. I again sent the voucher tand then was told that payment was successful and that the voucher (that I just sent!) could probably be found in my spam box.
Not very Customer Orented. And a waste of everyones time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the confusion you encountered during the payment process.

The misunderstanding occurred because the purchase and the subsequent communication were made using different email addresses. As a result, the payment confirmation could not be immediately matched in our system, which led to the initial assumption that the payment had not been completed.

Once the correct voucher and email address were identified, we were able to confirm that the payment had been successful. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused and for the additional time and effort required on your side.

Your feedback is important to us, and we will use it to further improve our customer service processes to avoid similar situations in the future.

We wish you a wonderful holiday in the Dolomites.

Best regards

Poor customer service rescued by Facebook messenger option

Spent over €600 on two ski passes which I haven’t received yet (although has cleared on my credit card) and have had no response from their customer service team - two emails and two Facebook messages in so far. Really worried at this point that I have been scammed…hope not

Update: I did eventually get hold of someone in the My Dolomiti team via Facebook messenger and they resolved the issue. So credit where it is due, they did resolve it. Not a scam…and the set up once we got to our ski destination was phenomenal!

Thank you for your feedback, and we are very sorry for the concern and frustration this situation caused.

At the time of your purchase, we experienced a technical issue related to iCloud email addresses, which unfortunately caused our emails to be blocked. As a result, you did not receive the voucher or our responses to your emails. We sincerely apologize for this.

Once the issue was resolved, the confirmation was successfully sent, and according to our system, you were able to collect the ski passes.

We fully understand why this situation was worrying, and we want to reassure you that there was never any risk of a scam.

Kind regards

Never seen such a confusing service…

Never seen such a confusing service both online and on the app. Skipass cost is extremely high but the digital user experience very poor. Even the info for pick up boxes are incorrect.
