Ordered on 1 April. Item was only handed to the courier on 8 April, reached Ireland, and then failed delivery on 14 April with “address information needed” — despite a complete and correct address being provided.

What followed was the main issue:

Told it was “out of their hands” once shipped (incorrect)
Asked to contact the courier myself (not my responsibility)
No proactive resolution or re-delivery attempt

Communication was also contradictory:

Claimed no responsibility
Then confirmed a full refund (pending)

Additionally, the product was sold under the DoorJammer brand, but all communication came from Penn Elcom, with no clear explanation during checkout. This lack of transparency adds to the confusion.

Final outcome was a refund, but only after escalation. The overall process took 14 days for a failed delivery, which is far below normal standards.

Verdict: Not fraudulent, but operationally weak. Poor logistics, unclear ownership, and reactive customer handling.

A simple order should not require this level of follow-up.

Bought two, over a year ago, they were strong sturdy and great at their job, after 8 months the second ones threads kept slipping and just wouldn't tighten, but the first is still doing its job perfectly.

I bought the door jammer lockdown and it really does reassure me and provide extra security. Really easy to install and remove, good quality and arrived quickly, well packaged. Think I will buy the original smaller model too for travelling. Thanks! 🙏

This is very good product and highly recommended. Just wondering if its bad for the door when you secure it too tight because it might actually be lifting the door?

One thing is there are some rubber wedges on a ring that are not in the instructions.
I have an idea what they are for but should be put in the instructions For people who do not know physics or mechanical engineering

brought this for multipurpose reasons. At work some restrooms are single units and have no inner locks in stalled, so this comes in handy. It is sturdy.

Great product. I secured a door leading into my hallway that I did not want workers to use while I was st work. Glad I bought this product, and highly recommend it.

The device appears in photos as larger then it actually is. I would not have bought it if I knew the size. Because of the drop from the threshold to the floor it does not extend far enough to secure properly even with the extender piece. The design seems that if larger it would be effective, however seems flimsy. I will be returning it.

The DoorJammer arrived promptly and I really liked the fact that it was portable and could be used on any door without drilling holes into the floor like other products that serve the same purpose of adding an extra degree of protection to pre-existing door locks. However, I was immediately struck by how small the DoorJammer was when I looked at the small package and then opened it. It almost looks like a miniature scale model that a salesperson might use to demonstrate to a retailer that he is trying to persuade to stock the product. From the pictures on the Web page, I got the impression that it was going to be more like 1' high instead of 4"! Also, although it is easy to install, I am never quite sure if it is installed well enough to actually hold off an intruder. I am not returning it, I use it every night and while it provides something of an additional sense of security, I am never really sure if it is serving its intended purpose.

Arrived quickly and does the job perfectly. I highly recommend this door jammer. It’s very easy to use and super easy to remove from the door. Small and takes up no room in my suitcase. An exceptionally well designed item. Thanks.

larger model doesn't come with extension like smaller model.

Easy to install. Held good on concrete floor

I put this under a door and my husband tried to push his way in with no luck!!! Loooove this product very small for travel easy to install under any door much better sleep when away in hotels with kidlets

Very handy and easy to use!

I bought both models of the door jammer. The normal size is very good and the larger version could block an elephant trying to get it - the door frame would give way before the door swung open! Very happy with my purchases.

It is a good product because it works well and it has a safety feature. I like that it is small so it doesn’t not distract from my decor.
