I visited the Doppelganger store on Sunday 2/3/25 and was assisted by Rumino.
She was very helpful, kind, polite and well versed in men’s fashion. Hugo was also very helpful during the process.
The store was in tip top shape and items were easy to view. The prices were very reasonable and I was thrilled with the two suits and vest i selected.
I am very excited to showcase the Doppelganger brand to my family, friends and associates back in NYC.

Avoid Doppelganger clothing...
Doppelganger clothing for men is an Italian retail shop chain that sells clothes made in Bangladesh. The quality is not very good at all and the price is way too high for the material and stitching used.
I liked some of the material colours but upon closer inspection the price should be about 25% to 50% (maximum) of the label price. You cannot get a refund after buying in the shop so choose very carefully. The staff are very quick to tell you the quality is high but this is far from the truth. The staff I met were very pushy and sales orientated. They tell you what you want to hear and not the truth. Do not shop here if you want an item of clothing to last more than a few wears and do not think that this is Italian made, or the fabrics are from Italy, they clearly are not.
Be careful with your color choice too, the shop lighting is bright but the bulbs used make it difficult to tell what colour you're actually buying. This is a marketing trick because I'm a designer and know about colour rendering in shops.....Ask to take the garment outside to check the real colour in daylight.
All in all for me this was not a positive experience and I will not be visiting again.
