I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dowdeswell Forestry Services.
The team arrived on time and were extremely courteous, helpful and efficient in dealing with a number of different Jobs, which included:-
Lowering the height and beautifully re-shaping a very high silver Birch and dealing with a badly overgrown hedge - which in turn gave way to some very nice comments of workmanship from neighbours.
Everything was efficiently and methodically cleared away and the property grounds were left in excellent order.

We were very impressed by the professionalism and hard work put in over a long day, dealing with a number of trees. Also, very polite and knowledgeable, with everything tidied up well, too. Thank you again!

Brilliant Service over Christmas for trees. Dowdeswell delivered and picked up the tree when we had finished with it. Yes, this was a small charge but well worth it. Tree still look brilliant after 5 weeks.

Their service was perfect. Payment was easy and the driver made sure he was tipping logs in the correct location before continuing.

Logs are ideal for us and will see us through the winter. We will definitely be buying through Dowdeswell Forestry in the future.

Great work by the delivery team.
As I feared I totally underestimated the space required, but they improvised and left us with three tidy stacks and I am still able to park my Zafira in the space.

Both done with minimum fuss and I was consulted as the job proceeded so no communication problems at all

We are very pleased with the end result.

Wood burning stoves and buying logs was for me a first.
My approach led me first to the Dowdeswell website and then to a visit of their premises.
I was met with courtesy and a clear willingness to offer, what I subsequently found to be, extremely helpful advice.
An order placed my order of half a load of 9” logs was delivered on the date and time window promised.
The same courtesy I had received from the Office Manager was extended by the delivery driver.
From start to finish my experience was nothing but positive, excellent customer service, excellent logs and excellent value.
There is no question, once
my order of logs have been consumed I shall be reordering from Dowdeswell.
