Fast delivery but no service after delivery for faulty watch
The delivery of the product was great. Unfortunately the follow up service is poor. Have emailed without response and unable to locate a phone number. The watch is faulty and needs repairing under warranty.
Sally - having 30 days to return goods is irrelevant. You advertise a 12 month warranty which you fail to uphold. You have clearly missed the point.

Quick service but rotten delivery people
Love the watch and how fast and efficiently it arrived. However, I took a couple of stars off because the watch was left on the front step unattended, tempting anyone to steal it. The delivery people must have forged the signature needed to leave the parcel and just dumped it and left. Who pays if it's stolen?

Well Sally if you always try to give Customer satisfaction try responding to my emails in which I have tried to reach some kind of settlement with you .
DownUnderWatches with a postal address, only, in Victoria Australia has been placed on a 'Watch List' [Not a Pun] by Consumer Affairs Australia following my unsatisfactory dealings with them, their failure to provide a 'Fit For Purpose' Watch, or replace the same, as well as for 'False & Misleading Advertising'. Others suffering similar dealings may register a complaint with Consumer Affairs, Victoria, Australia to help build a case history for potential future action against them.
17 July 2020 - For any potential customers reading this it has taken Downunderwatches from March to July to respond; they have taken no action to replace or substitute the failed watch. That what they call Customer Servive. If Ozzie based please register any Complaint regarding failed watches with Consumer Affairs, Victoria.

i was pleasantly surprised with the speed of delivery. I was looking for a slim watch that is strong enough to take the punishment i dish out. Their website gives the case dimensions when even the manufacturers' sites don't.
After spending nearly 12hrs on the computer looking for a watch that meets my specs; Slim (<8mm), sapphire crystal, quartz, 100m WR and metal strap i found that NO website allowed a search on individual parameters such as these. They all allowed a search based on gender, some on style (sport, dress) but even a manufacturers matrix didn't meet my needs. Down Under Watches do have a full description once a watch is chosen by photo. I was able to 'open in new tab' a number of watches that i liked the look of and then go through the specs and find one that offered the least compromise. A Seiko SGG series.

Citizen watch
I received the watch that I ordered in under a week. I am slightly disappointed that down under watches are not Australian based and therefore do not get the 5 year Australian guarantee that Citizen offers, instead only 1year international warranty. However it was considerably cheaper. Hopefully this does not prove to be a false economy.
