Ring the bell & run before it gets answered
DPD attempted delivery but it was a case of ringing the doorbell and running away before anyone could answer the door. Their customer services contact centre is not fit for purpose. They won't guarantee delivery and they won't let you lodge an official complaint.

It should be minus 5 stars. Very bad delivery service. Customservice is only there to talk to you, nothing els they do. Package is days at the depot, but nothing they do. Never use DPD anymore. its dramatic!

I used to really like DPD for the information you get on the lead up to delivery but the past year or so I have had nothing but problems.
Having Lego delivered TWICE now the parcel has been left by the front door on a main road in full view of people walking past (nothing is there to even slightly conceal it). This means it was taken both times. Whats annoying is, I was in and nobody bothered to ring the bell.
The second time was having a PC delivered and I was watching the app, I was the next person to be delivered to and it just went straight to "could not be delivered" when no attempt was made. The update they gave the PC company was that they tried and no one was in and even had the GPS location to show it, however when the driver turned up the next day he said "sorry about yesterday, it was a busy day and sometimes our deliveries don't work properly" so it was nothing to do with nobody being in at all.
The PC delivery caused me to miss a meeting and screw up my entire day AND the next day because of having to wait in a second time.
Seriously DPD, you could be good but lately it's just lies and laziness.

Customers should have top quality service
DPD like so many other delivery drivers around the UK, are negligent to customers who want their items to be delivered safely to their front door.
I was at home.
One of their drivers left my valuable items right outside the main entrance of the building where I live, so that anyone from the public can keep my items without me knowing.
Driver did not deliver to my front door.
I waited all day for this driver to deliver to my front door but did not have the curtsey to deliver where it should be.
If DPD would like customers not to put complaints in,
then they should consider:
what if they were the paying customer, how would they feel about this service?

Photo taken of parcel left in front of my door. I had asked for the parcel to be left under the stairs as I wasn't going to be back for 4 hrs after the delivery . Delivery person did not follow the instructions, nor did he close my gate as requested ( well, I should not have to request for gates to be closed on exit ). Anyway, when I came back , no parcel . I am assuming it has been stolen. That particular delivery person could not follow simple instructions ..
Mothers Day Flowers
Tomorrow is Mothers Day my son sent flowers from M&S he called this morning 830am your parcel is in delivery depot the delivery depot is 5 minutes from my home. I sat this morning and watched all the vans going out everyone passing my door. When were my flowers delivered 8 45 pm clearly says on box Flowers and Delicate.Does no one at DPD use common sense.

For me DPD is the best worst shipping company service. My opinion come when they always find something to make your nerves high mostly when you wait for your package at home and a notification come that unfortunately we cannot meet today in person so you have to go and pick it up at a packetshop. One message for dpd: if i want to lose time doing this shit i won’t shop online but losing my time shopping and walking around.

DPD NETHERLANDS IGNORE EU LAW - on every occasion I have sent goods manufactured in the UK and are not subject to import taxes as opposed to VAT / BTW import taxes are imposed by DPD Eindhoven. Here is the law ukeu-and-eaec-trade-and-cooperation-agreement-ts-no82021 further their customer service via their website is non existent.

I order something from the tik tok shop. Yesterday I was sent a text to say that it would be delivered that day between 1309 and 1409 by Russell. He sent options for delivery and as I had to go out I ticked tge box to deliver to my neighbour. This morning I received a phot of my next doo neighbours front door. Nothing else just the door. I knocked on her door and asked did my item get delivered to her address and it hadnt so I phoned dpd customer servicesgiving the parcel number that Russell texted to me and the advisor said it can't be that number. Never been so frustrated in all my life. I'd advise people other to get anything delivered by dpd and by a man named Russell
Never ever use this service
I ordered a jacket on Amazon. Normally Amazon service works perfectly, but this time the delivery was handled by DPD.
DPD was unable to deliver the package for over a week. According to the tracking information, they repeatedly claimed that I was not at home or that the address could not be found, which is not correct. I receive several Amazon deliveries at this address every week without any problems.
This situation is very disappointing.

I do not understand how such a level of service is still possible, and why a company providing this quality of delivery is allowed to continue operating.
2 packages lost in one day
2 packages were declared delivered today. I've been home the whole day, never got a bell, no note, nothing.
Yet their system says they have been delivered with proof.
Where is the proof? can I see it? No, response.
I had to fill in a declaration of non-receipt, and send it back to the sender to ask them to start an investigation with DPD. WTF !
If there's proof, I want to see it. I want to see where my stuff is. I paid a good amount of money for this, plus a lot more efforts for installation to come and now all this material is god knows where.
Delivery driver is incapable of pushing…
Delivery driver is incapable of pushing open a pedestrian gate for two days running. both days I've had a message to say that the driver was unable to carry out the delivery even though I left clear instructions in "leave in a safe place".
This is the best bit. The driver took a photo of the pedestrian gate as proof he was unable to deliver the parcel. Just push it mate, you might be surprised that it actually opens and allows you to get to my house.
There is no way of speaking to anyone at DPD which is shambolic too.

The worst courier and customer service. When the delivery was supposed to be, the courier simply didn't arrive. But it marked that I had given him the wrong pin code. The package is valuable and should not be left anywhere. I was at home and contacted customer service 15 minutes after I saw that my package would not be delivered. The customer service center refuses to solve the problem. Says she knows nothing and can't do anything. Can change the delivery day. I clearly tell them when I won't be home for the next few days because I'm working. And why didn't the courier come? They don't have an answer and they just end the conversation.
There was a courier today, took a picture of my door, probably tomorrow it will be the same. Even though they clearly said that I wouldn't be home. They refuse to deliver in the morning and evening when I'm home. The courier ignores the delivery but everyone pretends nothing happened. aAnd companies that also deliver their goods by courier. Choose a more responsible courier service, as it reflects poorly on you as well....

Worst delivery service every experienced. Got a notification that they missed me because no one was in, even though I was in all day. And now is being delivered to my nearest DPD store, which isn't what I paid for. Is never going to be next day delivery from them. Companies worldwide need to stop using them as their postage.
