DPH Removals&Storage Reviews 

Moving is stressful - it’s one of life’s great mysteries why conveyancing is, hands-down, one of the most frustrating and upsetting experiences in life. However what is NOT stressful is letting DPH do the removals side of it. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. From the fab ladies in the office to the chaps with the lorries. We relocated from Yorkshire to Lincs and they also stored our stuff for nearly 3 months. I am wholeheartedly happy to recommend them. Thanks DPH!

Having recently reviewed this company due to disappointments we encountered and damage to our items, we received a rambling response pretty much blaming us for their bad practices. Yes , they did begrudgingly refund us the cost of a completely ruined brabantia kitchen bin , the other issues took another month to become apparent. Our freezer started leaking and we noticed damage to the casing. This had to be replaced. A new sofa was purchased. Kitchen cups and plates replaced because a whole box was broken. My iron had a crack in its casing . Their ‘ don’t look at us , look at them ‘ attitude hasn’t just been experienced by us but looking at their other reviews , there are several that say the same as we did. For example -
‘Your company moved us on the date we wanted, but there were a few things that got damaged during the move. We knew about wires that were pulled out of my mobility chair, which will not work now and there was slight damage to the top opening of a small chest freezer’
This was from another customer who received a rambling it’s your fault not ours reply from DPH.

The company was so professional in all aspects of the job including arriving and delivering at the stated times. The 3 guys who undertook the move were so helpful, attentive and willing and ensured the move went according to plan. I would highly recommend this company

Excellent service from DPH on our move from Lincolnshire to North Yorkshire. Very professional and got to give a shout out to Kieran, Adi and Ben the guys who actually moved us, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

I highly recommend this company. They arrived on time and were professional, friendly and helpful. Everything was delivered efficiently and carefully, despite them having to carry it up 4 flights of stairs. They even went the extra mile levelling my wardrobe doors so they didn’t catch. The price was very reasonable too. I’m very happy with a job well done.

DPH Removals were amazing, efficient, highly organised and friendly. My house move went exactly as planned thanks to them and my pianos in particular were moved with great care. I can’t thank them enough.

This was the second time that we used DPH for our house removals and they are consistently excellent. DPH we're calm, professional and able to adapt to a changing situation which resulted in short term storage and a rearranged delivery date. Darryl and his sons were friendly and hard working, nothing was too much trouble. They provided a personal service which is hard to find these days.Would highly recommend.

I approached this company to move my son into his own house, from the first contact I believed I was in the hands of professionals. On the day of the move the 3 man team turned up and quicker than I could offer a cup of tea all my sons possessions were out of the house ( self-packing service so it was moving boxes and heavy stuff), on reaching my sons house the van was empty within an hour, all possessions in the correct room and all undamaged. Best removals decision I have ever made

I used this company on 02/10/24 and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a disability so couldn’t do much at all but from the first phone call to inquire they did everything they could to make the day easy as it could be. The crew that moved me were a wonderful polite well mannered lads with a lovely sense of humour. They made the day better. I would recommend them everytime and if i ever needed any more removals I’d go straight to them. Although right now I don’t I ever want to move again.

Absolutely amazing. I’ve used these twice and nothing has ever been lost or broken. My wife went into labour during our move in and the team carried on without me, placed everything where it should go and offered to video call me so I could ensure everything was perfect. This company is an absolute credit to the trade and we can’t thank them enough. 5 Stars doesn’t do them justice.

We can't thank them enough! The move went off without a hitch, helped by the cheerful crew who were willing to do much more than they needed. They were speedy and efficient and most importantly careful in everything they did. We'd recommend DPH to anyone!

Would thoroughly recommend DPH for all your removal needs. They were brilliant from the first contact Adele coming round to the guys that carried out the move. Great communication and turned up when and where they said as ours was not a standard moving house move. Don’t go anywhere else

Cannot praise DPH Removals highly enough.

The initial quotation was undertaken with understanding, professionalism and gentle guidance when required. Subsequent dealings, including a cancellation, were dealt with in an understanding manner, any potential pressure immediately diffused and reassurances given.

On the great day the lads could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty including performing tasks I expected to have to complete myself, nothing was too much trouble for them, almost, but not quite, making me feel guilty.

All in all DPH transformed a situation which was potentially highly stressful and unpleasant into what was actually quite an enjoyable experience. If I decide to move again after another 37 years I will definitely be using DPH once again.

This is the second time I have used DPH after they moved us from Essex. On this occasion we needed our downstairs furniture removing for a few days so new flooring could be installed. They guys arrived on collection day promptly at 9 o’clock and in no time at all the items were loaded and stored using protective blankets. On the day agreed for return they again arrived promptly in the morning and carefully returned the furniture to where we needed it.

From speaking to staff to arrange our delivery through to delivery men doing the job -plus a little extra to help us out -at no extra charge- the whole procedure was dealt with in a professional, careful and friendly manner.
I would - and will recommend them-to anyone.

As they do, things became complex during our move but Adele and Debs came up with a rapid and efficient solution which worked out perfectly. Would not hesitate to recommend. Actual move went as well as it could. No substantial damage. Excellent work, everyone
