Had the spray foam removal service from Dreamroof whos team were pleasant from start to finish. Professional, friendly and experts at what they do. It was a complete spray foam removal project and they completed it to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them and have done already to a friend.

Dreamroof tradestand at Melplash Show 2017 …

Saw their tradestand at Melplash Show in 2017. We had a leaking tile roof, and they guaranteed to spray seal the under side, which would have the effect of insulating and stopping any leaks.
We paid a deposit; the surveyor came, surveyed, and presented the final quote, which was paid as per his final acceptance of work to be completed.
He was to send an 'expert' to identify the cause of the leaks.
After several missed appointments to identify the leak, their 'expert' could find no obvious reason for the leaks which were around the 2 velux windows. He thought there was a bar at the base of the windows missing (I thought this strange as the leaks were coming in at the top). He said he would try to source the missing bars, but within a couple of hours, the spraying team arrived. They seemed efficient and left after 2 hours having completed the spraying job, but did not address the leaks.
The leaks however continued, and Dreamroof said they would send out someone else to identify the problem. He came up with a different reason for the continuing leaks.
At this stage, Dreamroof said that we had not paid the full bill. It transpired that the final representative who quoted, could not subtract the deposit from the final bill correctly, and wrote down a sum that was £600 short of the original total, even though we both initialled the final paperwork as being correct.
On the phone, Dreamroof said they would not rectify the problem until the £600 had been paid. I explained that I was not happy to do that, as their experts had not seemed able to identify the problem. I said I was perfectly happy to rectify the payment problem caused by their rep, but only after the leak had been repaired.
That was the last I heard from Dreamroof. I wrote on 3 occasions to them asking for a statement of account, the guarantee for the work done, and an explanation as to how they were going to resolve our issues. I specifically asked them not to ring. I received no correspondence from them and only phone calls which I told them I was not going to accept.
I now discover they have gone out of business as Dreamroof Ltd, but have started up again as Foamroof Ltd, in the same premises, and with exactly the same format of website, except they have substituted the name Foamroof for Dreamroof.

Dreamroof, now Foamroof, are carrying on - beware and read our experience.

In 2014, following a survey by the Dreamroof surveyor who signed off our roof as not requiring any attention, we had a foam insulation installed - with the parting recommendation of not entering the loft area for a couple of days to let any fumes clear. Subsequently, there were problems, including water ingress. To be fair, there have been a number of visits from Dreamroof personnel, including the Operations Manager Pat Daniels and then the MD Steve Gunnell [in April 2017]: Mr Gunnell gave a personal assurance that the issue would be resolved, together with an intended plan.
We only gained more visits after a lot of chasing, a great deal of patience, telephone calls and emails, last in July by roofing subcontractors who identified multiple old cracked tiles that would have pre-dated 2014 considerably - and ought to have been detailed by the surveyor, and rectified before the Dreamroof installation.
My last contact with Dreamroof was late October 2017 - I rang Mr Gunnell, and asked what the position was: he replied with a tale of a fraud against the company causing what he termed Dreamroof to 'cease trading'. Nothing apparently would happen with our roof. Very sad, but no resolution.
I have since discovered that a new company has been registered [in September 2017] called Foamroof - same address, same telephone, same adverts, same Director Steve Gunnell, and same business.
So, 3 1/2 years down the line, we have a temporary fix to a roof in poor condition [will last 2-3 years tops], a roof therefore that requires a re-roof, no recompense - and meanwhile a new company name means that the same business continues, with no obligations to debtors or contracts that have not been fulfilled - oh, and there was never a guarantee insurance issued for our protection. As pensioners, we have been done.

Our dealings with Dreamroof have been a …bloody nightmare!

Our dealings with Dreamroof have been a nightmare!
A surveyor from the company spent 3 hours at our property in July and assured us that the service they would provide would be an ideal solution to our roofing problems. He was hugely charismatic and very convincing. We trusted him. We stupidly handed over a substantial deposit. Work commenced when 2 men with a ladder, a hired van and a dog arrived to prep the roof for the spray team. They spent a couple of hours at the house and then vanished. We then had conversations with Patrick the Operations Manager Who was keen to get a spray team to us despite the fact the Prep had not been done.
At this point we smelt a rat and asked if we could call it quits and walk away from the agreement. The M.D. Steve Gunnell apologised profusely and assured us that a second roofing team would come out and finish the prepping and we would receive a first class service. Eventually 2 roofers arrived...they were absolutely delightful but it quickly became apparent that the work they were expected to carry out prior to the spray team arriving was simply not possible and was in fact dangerous!
The roofers left saying that they would advise Dreamroof to sever the agreement we had with them and refund our deposit.
After much toing and froing Steve Gunnell agreed to refund our deposit in full. It is now November and we still have no refund. We feel absolutely shafted!

Overpriced and unprofessional

Salesman turned up in a tiny sports car convertible. Quoted me a ridiculously high price. Chased me up a few days later. When I said I have been quoted less for my roofing issues he was really rude to me. When I tried to complain I couldn't get hold of anyone who would listen. A very unprofessional company.
