Unacceptable experience - pressured into paying more for a prepaid booking
I had a fully prepaid reservation, but on arrival I was told the vehicle category I had already paid for was unavailable. Rather than honouring my booking, I was told the only way to leave with a car was to pay extra for an "upgrade" I never asked for and did not want. This was not a choice, it was presented as pay more or walk away without a vehicle.
To make matters worse, the staff member asked other customers to leave the room so he could speak to me alone. I was pressured into paying the additional charge, with a prepaid reservation, and no genuine alternative offered. It felt intimidating and manipulative, and completely inappropriate.
Despite the extra payment being forced on me, the rental was still processed under my original reservation reference, as though nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
I have since raised a formal complaint and requested a full reimbursement of the additional charge. No customer should be isolated from others and pressured into paying more for something they already paid for in full. This is not how a prepaid reservation should ever be handled.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Drivalia Heathrow to be prepared for this kind of pressure tactic at the counter.

I’ve used Drivalia at Heathrow multiple times now, and as a regular customer, I can genuinely say the experience just keeps getting better.
One of the most noticeable improvements is how much the overall process has evolved. The check-in is now far more automated, making it quicker, smoother, and significantly more customer-friendly. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into streamlining the experience, which makes a real difference—especially after a long journey.
From the moment I arrived, Mr.Gill at the booking desk was incredibly professional, welcoming, and efficient. He made the entire process feel effortless while still taking the time to ensure everything was clearly explained and in order. His friendly manner and positive attitude really set the tone for a great experience.
Abdulla, who handled the car check-up, was equally impressive. He demonstrated the same high level of professionalism and attention to detail—thorough, attentive, and approachable throughout. He made sure I was completely comfortable with the vehicle before leaving, which gave me real confidence. It’s great to see such consistency in service across the team.
I’d also like to highlight the excellent on-site amenities. Small touches like the vending machines make waiting times more comfortable, and everything feels well thought out. The location is another major advantage, with easy access from nearby hotels via public transport, adding to the overall convenience.
Overall, Drivalia Heathrow continues to deliver a seamless, efficient, and genuinely pleasant rental experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be returning again.

AVOID using their services
Just dropped the car at their location near heathrow, they charged me nearly 600£ for small damage that due to my mistake when I took the car it was night and they dont even have lights, maybe intentionally
If it was me, I would have fixed it for 50£ before I returned the car, and I submitted a complaint and they said go raise a complaint with police on us.
Very rude response, the car wasnt new even, and I think they do leave their cars in bad shape to give them a chance. Keep in mind as well that you better take Uber to and from their location, the bus service is not often
