Absolute Joke of a service.

Absolute Joke of a service.
I got 2 PCN fines and paid them immediately and then drivalia charged me admin fees for both fines!
I’ve paid there admin fees which worked out the same as my PCN fines!
They are simply charging you again and again for no reason and try contacting them, absolutely ridiculous… never again

Rental nightmare experience

My recent car rental experience was an absolute nightmare, and I must say it ranks among the worst commercial transactions I've ever had the misfortune of enduring.

To start with, upon my arrival, I found myself standing outside in the pouring rain for a staggering two hours, all while struggling to complete the paperwork on my phone. This in itself set the tone for what would become an utterly frustrating ordeal.

As if that wasn't enough, I was then informed that I would need to cough up a hefty £1500 deposit. To add insult to injury, because I didn't possess a credit card, I was coerced into shelling out an additional £200 for supplementary insurance, despite already having insurance through the broker. It was a blatant cash grab, leaving me feeling thoroughly exploited.

To make matters worse, the car I had specifically requested—a Renault—was nowhere to be found. Instead, I was handed keys to a vehicle that didn't align with my preferences or needs.

Communication with the rental company was an exercise in futility. Every time I attempted to contact them, I was left on hold for an excruciating 30 minutes, only to receive vague or unhelpful responses. It was as if they were intentionally making it difficult for customers to reach them, further exacerbating an already infuriating situation.

What's more, I soon discovered that I wasn't the only one facing such egregious challenges. Another patron found themselves in the same predicament, encountering identical obstacles and frustrations. It was a clear indication of the systemic issues plaguing this woefully incompetent establishment.

Of course, when confronted with these grievances, the rental company predictably pointed to their email communications, claiming that everything was outlined clearly in the fine print. But let's be honest—who actually reads through pages of convoluted terms and conditions buried in minuscule font? It was a feeble attempt to absolve themselves of responsibility, demonstrating a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience with this car rental company was nothing short of a disaster. From interminable wait times and exorbitant fees to mismanagement and poor communication, it was a masterclass in incompetence. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this establishment at all costs.

Dear customer,

On booking a Drivalia hire vehicle, whether directly with Drivalia or through a Third Party provider, all Drivalia Hirers are advised on the booking page and also on their booking confirmation voucher, that, in the event of damage to the vehicle during the hire, they are required to cover their excess liability either by the provision of a deposit on a credit card in the name of the Hirer or alternatively by purchasing an excess waiver package from Drivalia.

If you require any clarification on Drivalia requirements please contact us https://drivalia.co.uk/contact-drivalia/
