Drivers Domain UK initially started in 2003 as an online portal for motorists in the UK, where they could shop for motor insurance, perform data checks on their cars, and search for local driver trainers in their area.
In more recent years we had the idea of offering easy to arrange, high quality, bespoke driver training to both business and private clients. We identified a gap in the market. There was a growing demand for advanced/defensive driver training. But as it stood, it wasn’t that easy to conveniently book bespoke driver training online.
Why was driver training so slow to move with the times?
This was the question we asked ourselves. This is what drove us to build our online platform, which made it easy for both business and private clients to select a bespoke driving course or courses, decide the key focal elements of the course they want, select ideal dates and locations and then finalise the booking online.
We’ve helped people who have lost their confidence, we’ve helped people who’ve needed help getting back behind the wheel after a serious RTC, we’ve helped stressed fleet managers who need 100+ of their drivers trained, we’ve helped parents deal with their teenager who drives too fast.
The list goes on.

As a driver of almost 60 year standing I had tended to drift into habits that were sufficiently second rate that my adult children had thought I should seriously consider stopping driving. Within the session Chris Antoniou made me think about about what I am doing as an absorbing activity so as to apply improvements he suggested and I have generally been trying that. The extent to which I take them on, if I find the lot too hard, calls for a sense of priorities - better anticipation and mirror use is clearly the most significant. I recommend him very highly.

I recently had driving tuition with Neil Turner who was an excellent teacher. He understood the concerns I had about driving a vehicle which was larger than I had driven for some years and undertook to address those concerns in a very reassuring and informative manner. I would recommend Neil to anyone who considers taking tuition in the Dorset area.

I recently took an advanced driving course with steven and it was a great experience. He is very calm, patient, and explains everything clearly. He gave me lots of useful points and tips that really improved my confidence and driving skills. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to become a safer and more confident driver.

Alan Gray put Mrs R Clark, me, at ease immediately. I tried to drive as normal not ‘putting on a show’. I wanted to make sure I was still competent to drive and that I didn’t have too many bad habits. There were a few pointers where I was not doing my best and these I will correct with future driving. Alan was exceptionally good informing me politely where I need to improve. I am extremely pleased with Driver’s Domain and highly recommend the company.

I found Drivers Domain very helpful and accommodating. I completed a 7 hour advanced driving course with Paul Coleman. I had been involved in a road traffic accident many years ago, which had damaged my confidence and caused me to avoid driving altogether. Needless to say I was extremely nervous leading up to the course, and procrastinated for a whole year before signing up!
Paul is very skilled at creating a calm atmosphere and he is very knowledgeable. He quickly identified key areas of my driving which I needed to work on, and he tailored the course to what I wanted to achieve and more.
Paul was supportive and understanding of my limitations and if I did not feel comfortable with what he was asking of me, he returned to it later in the day, when I was ready. I did manage to achieve what I had previously thought was impossible.
Paul continued his support and advice after the course and I received my driving report very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the progress I had made in just one day. My confidence in my driving has certainly improved since taking the course. Thank you Paul and Drivers Domain !

Very good informative day with my instructor Paul Coleman. Having not done any advanced driver training, this gave me a great insight into road markings/signs and effective use of hazard perception.
Advice on breaking zones and safer cornering on different road surfaces/conditions.
I would recommend Paul Coleman to people/companies looking to further their knowledge of driving.

I had been nervous of driving our new motor home since we bought it in June 2024. As a result I haven’t shared the driving in over 8500 miles of touring in the UK and Europe. I have never driven such a large vehicle or an automatic. Bob Joyner was calm, friendly and knowledgeable and after our first 3.5 hour session I feel more confident and able to tackle the various road conditions we encounter! I even drove home and reversed into the drive with only a little help from my husband! Looking forward to the Advanced driving session on Friday.

Following the initial drive I thought was brilliant but unfortunately I had made quite a few errors.
My instructor Paul Coleman identified any faults and together we agreed a plan.
We started with observation of road markings, gears and steering.
I really did enjoy the training and believe i am better and more confident driver.
Thanks Paul

We have used Drivers Domain twice now as 18th Birthday presents for our sons! On both occasions they were provided with excellent, insightful, personalised advice, which they have taken on whole heartedly. Learning to drive and then passing a driving test is nerve wracking enough (as a parent!!). Many young drivers then pick up habits and gain experience through trial and error which can be dangerous. By having this extra, more advanced tuition we as parents and them as drivers feel far more confident! So thank you very much and we definitely recommend you to others!

I had a motorhome driving lesson with instructor Steve Unsworth. I hadn’t driven a motorhome before so was unaccustomed to driving and manoeuvring a vehicle of that size. Initially I was very nervous but Steve’s calm and friendly manner soon put me at ease. We practised driving on many different types of roads, from small culdesacs (where we practised reversing round a corner and a three point turn), to busy town centre roads, to dual carriage ways and motorways. By the end of the 3.5 hour lesson I was feeling much more relaxed and confident. Overall a great experience, highly recommend.

Dave Bertie was my instructor. I have a new Class A Motorhome weighing 4.25t which is 7.4m long and 3.25m high and 2.3m wide.I felt I needed some expert tuition on handling it, especially on narrow roads both in the countryside and in urban environments and dealing with motorways and high level bridges where there was vulnerability to cross wind and buffeting from large trucks.
Dave was an excellent tutor and soon taught me how to position the vehicle in a defensive manner in the different environments and look for potentially hazardous situations and how to be proactive rather than a reactive driver. We were able to practice this over our 7 hour session.
I have many 'take aways' from the session which I will be adopting in both my motorhome driving and day to day driving in my car. It exceeded my expectations.
I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone with a vehicle of any size. Thank you Dave.

I completed an advanced driving course with Drivers Domain UK and was highly impressed by the professionalism and personal approach of my instructor, Sabrina.
She demonstrated excellent subject knowledge and took time to understand my specific concerns. We focused on key areas I wanted to improve, including parallel parking, defensive driving techniques, and general road awareness. Her feedback was clear, constructive, and always supportive.
What stood out was her ability to strike the right balance between encouragement and challenge. Sabrina acted as a critical friend, helping me reflect on my habits while offering practical strategies to improve them.
The session felt genuinely tailored to my needs, and I came away with more confidence and greater control behind the wheel. I would strongly recommend this course, and Sabrina in particular, to any driver seeking high-quality, personalised coaching.

Worth every penny.
Alan Gray, my instructor, was extremely experienced and knowledgeable, spent time on all the aspects of my driving that I was concerned about and had lots of useful tips and reference points for me to use in the future.
It was even enjoyable.

I booked two sessions with Drivers Domain as I wanted to overcome my fear of driving on motorways which I have avoided for many years. My instructor Philip Robb could not have been better and provided a very professional service. I have benefited greatly from his expert tutition, both for driving on motorways around Northern Ireland and also for driving on all types of road. What Philip taught me is invaluable. Caron Lawrence, with whom I discussed my requirements and booked my sessions with, was very understanding, patient and helpful. All in all highly recommended!
