Scheduled appointment to shop for Toyota Rav4

Scheduled an appointment to look at a specific vehicle that Drivetime posted on their website. Arrived at the Adamo Dr, Tampa location. Completed all paperwork. Was ready to close the deal and was told the price increased by approximately $5500.The manager, Dayne Warshaw told me it was due to price fluctuations! They wasted 2-1/2 hours of my time. They would not honor their advertised price. They then went into their website and changed the price. Consumer Fraud, False Advertising, etc

Stay away from Drivetime

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from Drivetime and within the 30 day timeline we heard some rattling and felt a misfire with the transmission (we would soon learn that information). We took it to Midas and they contacted Silver-Rock which is the warranty company. They had our vehicle for 2 weeks and when we got the vehicle back it still wasn't corrected. I spoke with the gentleman at Midas and he said that Silver-Rock advised him to "band-aid" it and now the transmission is totally gone. I have also put an additional 2500 into it when we discover the air conditioning fan was broken. Which there is no way drivetime could have not known that if they actually inspect their vehicles. I tried to even play ball with Drivetime and just trade the vehicle in and there response was I haven't had the vehicle for 12 months. I said yes but this is a special circumstance in which it is unique. I mean you sold me a lemon here. Still no one was willing to help. This is actually the second vehicle I purchased form them. The first one was in Ohio which was a fantastic experience I even paid that car off. The Brandon, Fl location is garbage. We are in the process right now with an attorney. I know they will handle it this is classic lemon law case.
