Teaching people to drive is clearly Gautam's passion, and I am glad that he was the one who taught me to drive.

I first began learning to drive ten years ago, and my experience left me extremely nervous and anxious to ever attempt again - to the extent that I panicked every time I merely sat behind the wheel. Knowing that I couldn't avoid it forever, I contacted some driving schools in the Leicester area and didn't hear anything, especially when I mentioned my apprehensions around driving.

I came across Gautam and Driving Innovation through their reviews. Many people they had helped pass had been in the same situation as me. I sent him an email and he got straight back to me and we organised lessons in a manual car.

My first lessons were amazing - and Gautam coached me from panic to be able to do the basics. He was patient, and let me go at my own speed and choose my own goals for the lesson. He never pushed me, or forced me to go outside of my comfort zone but all the while encouraging me to take the next step. He believed in me from the beginning - even when I didn't.

After many weeks, I was still feeling some panic and did not feel safe or happy driving. I spoke to Gautam, and we discussed the reasons for how I felt, and how he and I could work together to combat them. One day, he suggested I try and drive an automatic. He was never pushy or made me do anything I didn't want to do - he talked through all the options, pros and cons and I decided to try it. It was amazing, and Gautam's support and knowledge was really helpful, he understood my needs even before I did. A few months (and many many parking attempts) later and I passed on my first attempt.

As an experienced teacher, Gautam understands his learners and will work with them to help them learn. As a very visual learner he was more than happy to show me as many pictures and drawings as I needed to understand, and do the same manoeuvre over and over until I felt happy. His communication was always excellent and he was always honest about his availability, my areas of strengths and weaknesses, how many lessons he thought I needed, and my progression. He taught me to believe in myself, and learning to drive has made me infinitely more confident.

A massive Thank You to Gautham!!! Can't find words to say how happy I am to find an instructor like him. He's been there to support and coach me and even uplift my morale. I haven't reached my goal yet , but I won't stop til I get it! I know Gautham will be with me to be successful in this journey. Things happen for a reason! Definitely I will recommend Driving Innovation to my friends and family.

My experience with Gotham was amazing. He was very supportive and encouraging , with his help I passed confidently within 21 hours. He was funny , competent and an all round great instructor. Really enjoyed learning with Gotham. I highly recommend learning with him.

I had just moved here from Hong Kong and approached Gautam for a crash course. I lacked the confidence and was total nervous wreck when I started but Gautam was very patient and supportive. He was always calm and explained everything clearly. His light talks and humour helped put me eat ease during each driving session. His little driving/parking tips are total gems. I am really glad I found Driving Innovation and Gautam. I would, without any doubt, highly recommend him to anyone.

Before Guatam I had previous instructors that where nervous and very interfering whitest driving.
When starting with Guatam I immediately felt at ease and found his methods easy to grasp, he never raised his voice or made me feel I couldn’t do anything and if I had trouble he explained and took the time to work on any weak points I have now passed and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I'm so thankful to have had Gautam at Driving Innovation, as my instructor. After 10 years of false starts with different instructors Gautam's, guidance, teaching and support has been incredible, I couldn't have passed first time without him. Driving Innovation has helped me to pass my driving test IN 2 MONTHS! Excellent teaching style which suits various types of learners. In the last week, I had 2 lessons everyday which I believe has contributed to the positive outcome. Enjoyed learning this life skill. Definitely worth the time and money.

i just passed my test today with 3 minors and that's all testament to what a great instructor Gautam is. he was very patient with me and through out my lessons with him, i felt so relaxed and supported all the way. He really pushed me to challenge my fears and built my confidence that i can do anything i put my mind to. i have been trying to pass my test for the last 2 years, i managed to pass with him after just 10 hours lessons with him. Gautam is not here to eat your money like other greedy instructors, he assesses your needs and let's you know realistically how many lessons you need. Honestly if you are thinking about booking with driving innovations whether it is weekly lessons or intensive please just do, I promise you will not regret it!!

I could not have asked for a better driving instructor. Gautam came to me highly recommended from a friend and I’m so glad I took her advice. I passed my test yesterday- and if it hadn’t been for Gautams belief in me and him pushing me to believe in myself I would not have done it. He is kind, very patient, and pushes you out of your comfort zone- he instills the confidence into you that we lack in ourselves at times. The lessons are positive and fun and if you make mistakes he is there to help you rectify them while keeping you upbeat. A really wonderful teacher and I will miss him now that my lessons are complete and my test is passed. So grateful - thank you driving innovation.

I'm glad I chose driving innovation for my driving lesson. I became a much more confident driver as a result of this, and I was able to pass my driving test. Gautam was my driving instructor. He was highly knowledgeable and helped me feel at ease. He pushes and drives you to overcome your flaws. I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in learning.
