Just passed my test and I am so happy I had Gautam guiding and teaching me along the way. It was overall an amazing experience, if I didn’t understand something then Gautam would persevere through and explain it in different ways until I knew exactly what I was doing. He was also excellent at talking to me and calming my nerves before my test and throughout my driving whenever I didn’t feel 100% confident. Can’t express my gratitude towards Gautam and would definitely recommend this service to others.

I am so happy to share that I passed my driving test with 0 minor faults. All thanks to Gautam for his guidance and patience.
He has been very knowledgeable, resourceful & was able to answer all my questions thoroughly. His practical explanations helped me understand the reasoning behind all the checks we need to do. If I could give zero stars, I would. I would most definetely not recommend Gautam Sheth as a driving instructor! I was taking lessons with him for over a year and only stayed with him because I didn't know any different at that point and had no other experience of driving as I was very young! Apart from constantly changing lesson dates and times at the very last minute (this was every week), he had either been teaching me to drive wrongly or simply didn't notice how I was driving because he would be constantly on his phone as I was driving as a beginner, which is a criminal offence and could have caused me to cause a serious accident. This instructor had booked me in for my test and had given me lots of false hope that I would pass, the entire time I had been driving around riding the clutch non stop! I can only assume he never even paid me enough attention to notice as this would have also been causing damage to the car. I also was never ever shown any manouveres like parking and reversing, show me and tell me questions, or following road signs/sat nav, yet I was booked in for a driving test, absolutely unbelieveable. My lessons would consist of aimlessly driving around the whole of Leicester, not even focusing on test routes whilst he would quite often be making phone calls or replying to texts and would then get irritated with me when I made mistakes. I only realised how bad this all was after being with another instructor and finding out how a driving lesson should be. As my test became very close, Gautam told me he had had an injury and therefore stopped my lessons (I'm now not sure how true this was). After this I had a driving lesson as such with a family member (a few weeks before my test) and he concluded I was so unsafe and inexperienced at driving that I had to stop the car and let him drive me back after a few miles. I found a new instructor very quickly and after one lesson he said I was nowhere near ready to take a test and agreed with my family member that I had actually been taught to drive wrongly! I obviously had to cancel my test and also leave it several months before starting lessons again with a new instructor as I was advised it was best to let myself forget everything I had learnt, otherwise it would be worse than starting from square one. I still found it very difficult to forget these bad habits when I did start lessons again but luckily my new instructor gave me the proper patience and attention to teach me correctly and I have finally passed my test, although along the way I have wasted over a year of my time and about 15 hundred pounds. I couldn't recommend my new instructor enough - Steven Hellyar at Driving4Learners, if anyone is looking for a good and professional instructor. I am honestly so shocked at seeing good reviews for Gautam, I can only assume they are from family and friends or maybe it was just me he took advantage of due to my age and lack of experience, either way I would not recommend taking your chances.

I am thrilled to write a short review for Gautam, an incredibly professional, helpful, and honest driving instructor who played a crucial role in my successful driving test. Apart from his remarkable personal qualities, such as his calmness, patience, and unwavering support, Gautam possesses exceptional teaching skills and a well-planned approach to tailored lessons.

Gautam's ability to remember the stage I was at in my learning journey was truly commendable. This allowed him to provide focused instruction and ensure continuous progress. His exceptional communication skills made complex concepts easy to understand, and he had a talent for simplifying things making the learning process enjoyable and effective. Rather then just explaining verbally, he would also draw a thing on a whiteboard/paper. It really helped me grasping the concept.

One aspect that truly sets Gautam apart is his approach to addressing mistakes. He explained them in such a way that I rarely repeated the same error. This not only enhanced my learning but also boosted my confidence as a driver.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been trained by Gautam, especially considering the struggles my family member experienced with multiple instructors in the past. Gautam is the complete package, both professionally and personally. His sole intention was to make me a safer driver sooner, and he ensured that no time, money, or efforts were wasted. To be fair, his diary is always full, a testament to his effectiveness and reputation.

In a nutshell, Gautam is an exceptional driving instructor. His professionalism, helpfulness, honesty, and remarkable teaching skills, combined with his outstanding personal qualities, make him an invaluable mentor. Thank you Gautam for helping me pass my test and gain my independence! I have never had any lessons before and was so nervous about trying and was sure at the start that I would hate it. On my first lesson Gautam made me feel calm and comfortable and helped me look at learning to drive as a positive thing and not something to be afraid of. His way of teaching is so clear and the way he describes things are easy to understand without over complicating everything, teaching me tips on how to remember certain maneuvers in the easiest way possible and most importantly, how to stay calm and confident. I will be forever grateful to Gautam and feel I can now achieve anything that I put my mind to. Thank you!!!!!

I remember my first day driving with Gautam, I didn't believe I would be driving already so quickly. However, Gautam made me so confident that I ended up liking my first day of driving more than I thought I would. Having passed my driving test after my third trial, I am really glad and appreciative how Gautam pushed and encouraged me. He is a wonderful teacher, who believes in his students and really tries to pinpoint areas that needs to be worked on while giving you the chance to evaluate yourself and decide on areas you believe you need to be more confident in.

I took manual lessons with Sheilpa. I was recommended by my girlfriend, and wasn't disappointed. Sheilpa was flexible and helped me learn quickly (I passed on my first attempt). Gautam was also pleasant and flexible when I made a payment error. I think the price is marginally higher than other providers, but you pay for quality.

I booked my lessons with Gautam from Driving Innovation and I couldn't recommend the company, nor individual, any higher. I'm 32 and being a little older for a beginner learner as well as disabled, I was beyond incredibly nervous about learning to drive- Gautam put me at ease immediately. This was nothing to do with what he said, his presence alone is incredibly relaxing. He was patient and answered every question, regardless of whether it was the first or forty-second time it was asked. While I was fortunate not to make serious errors during my lessons, I had made numerous careless errors- while this could of provoked a negative reaction from the instructor, Gautam navigated this in such a gracious manner. His passion for teaching people the skills they need for further independence, his dedication to ensuring that is done safely as well his patience, kindness and compassssion just scream from him. I'm so grateful for the vat of knowledge he has provided and the skills he taught me that extend beyond driving a vehicle. I feel incredibly lucky and privileged to of met this wonderful human on the journey of life, not just the journey of learning to drive a car. Despite my consuming anxieties, Gautam provided everything, and more, that was required for me to pass first time with one minor, I'm proud to add to his huge list of first time passers. Wow I don’t even know where and how to start!!! I’m not very good at writing review but I’ll give it a try!

I have PASSED my test yesterday with 3 minors on FIRST ATTEMPT!! Mind you, I have never driven in my life nor on UK roads ever!!!

I have stumbled across Driving Innovation’s website while I was looking for a driving instructor. I was a little skeptical at first as I wasn’t sure if the reviews are genuine. So I’ve literally read each and every review about Gautam after reading all the positive reviews, I saw a review of a friends friend from HKG who recommended Gautam too from that minute on I knew I had to go for Gautam. I can vouch for all the reviews, they are all genuine because I’ve had the same positive experience with Gautam. I picked up the phone called Gautam for an enquiry and that’s how it all started!

I even had friends telling me I’m crazy to wait so long for an instructor as he was away on holiday and had no dates available but I still insisted in waiting a month for him and I’m so so glad and thankful that I did. Luckily he was able to fit me into his busy schedule.

I love how Gautam is emotionally engaged and connected to his candidate and his teaching style wasn’t robotic at all. He is a patient, caring, calm and understanding instructor. Gautam can be strict when he needs to so that you make a progress and he has a good sense of humor too which put me at ease when driving specially when I have so much anxiety behind the wheel. Gautam will tailor lessons to your needs and learning ability.

He has never wasted a single minute during my lessons by stopping on the road for lectures. It was money well spent on learning a new skill with a wonderful instructor. Gautam not only an instructor he’s also a mentor and a life coach to me.
There was always constructive criticism and feedback during and after the lesson. If you’re like me and can’t talk when you drive then feel free to ask Gautam to stop somewhere and he’ll happily explain you anything you don’t understand.

Gautam knew I was unemployed and needed to pass the test to be able to start my new life in UK but never once did he compromise on test readiness or standards. He made sure I was up to test standard before sending me to test and informed me immediately when he felt I was test ready.

He has made sure I corrected all my mistakes from the tiniest ones to biggest ones you name it…anything from making turns, steering control to junction observation to mirror check to roundabouts or parking before I went for my test! He had no problem in repeating instructions again and again when I myself was fed up and ashamed of asking so many times. Before and on the day of test Gautam will make sure that the driving lesson covers all your weak areas and he will ensure you are happy with it too!

He has gone above and beyond many times by allowing the lesson to overrun. Don’t worry he is very punctual in general and if he’s late for next lesson for any reason be it traffic jam etc he will message you and let you know in advance! Very very professional!

I remember I wanted to give up on the 2nd or 3rd lesson already but Gautam didn’t let me give up and encouraged me to continue on. I used dread the pork pie roundabout but with Gautam’s help I nailed it confidently on the exam! Gautam is so passionate about his job he really does celebrate your success louder than you genuinely!!!!! I truly appreciate Gautam as he has got to have one of the most difficult job in the world!!! So much time, effort and patience goes into teaching someone a new skill and sometimes at unsociable hours.

I am so happy with my experience with Gautam! I called up looking for someone to help me pass with only weeks until my theory expired and over a year not driving. Gautam went out of his way to fit me into his schedule and after only I think, seven hours, I passed yesterday with just one minor for parking! ive had driving lessons with 3 instructors in the past in London and Leicester and can objectively say that Gautam is the most incredible instructor you will come across! At driving innovation, each student really is catered for individually, especially those who have extra needs or are neurodivergent. You know you are in good hands when your instructor loves what he does and celebrates all your wins louder than you! Whether something as big as passing first time, or something as small as positioning the car at a junction. i feel so grateful to have come across Driving Innovation. Words cannot describe how happy i am and how much i would recommend Driving Innovation. It is true, driving really is life changing - so make the journey to your licence a memorable one! I still can't believe i passed my practical test! I messaged Gautam after a recommendation by a friend and managed to get lessons in February this year, with my theory test due to expire in June i was nervous and worried i would not pass in time. Gautam helped me to get a practical test booked in for May before my theory was due to expire and was able to fit lessons in around my work schedule. I felt comfortable and relaxed from my first lesson with him as he is easy to talk to. My lessons were all very well planned and he simplified. He doesn't just teach you how to drive but how to be a safe driver on the road. I have gained so much more confidence in myself and learnt so much in such a short space of time, i wish i had heard of this company sooner. This company provides an outstanding service from start to finish and is a really good price for what you get. I strongly recommend this company for anyone who is looking to be more than just a driver! Thank you again for all your help!

Gautam is an exceptional driving instructor and the best one that you can learn to drive from! I passed my test first time earlier this week and wouldn’t have done it without his amazing way of teaching.

Throughout my lessons he has been soo patient and calm with me, never in a rush and clearing all of my doubts even if it meant explaining certain things again. He is also very flexible and accommodating of the lesson timings. I thoroughly enjoyed all of my lessons with him and will surely miss them now!

He’s highly experienced and loves what he does. Also, at the end of each lesson he would give a 2min feedback which greatly helped and motivated me to do better. I would 100% recommend driving innovation to anyone wanting to learn how to drive.

Best driving instructor ever, he has a passion in what he does, he cares about making a change in your life, and helping you pass.

Gautam is very dedicated to train you to become safe on the road. He was highly recommended to me by my wife who took the exam a few months ago. Thankfully with his guidance, I was able to pass my exam in my first take.
For someone who used to drive on the left side for more than a decade, he is remarkably fantastic in guiding me to safely drive on the right side. I highly recommend him as a driving instructor.

I have had lessons with 2 other instructors before gautam and i wish i had met him first,because it would’ve saved my time ,money and precious mental peace.
He is very calm ,friendly ,professional yet very flexible and honestly i can add on and on.
With Gautam i drove the whole 2 hours while he corrected my mistakes by explaining on the drive and repeating the same road again until i corrected it. There were so many time he has gone over these 2 hours because i needed more help with some particular road.
Now this is a major difference with some others while they will stop you after each mistake,give a lecture/reflection points 😒 and the lessons will be half and half (half lectures/half driving )-which was giving me major headaches before.

But again if u can’t take information while driving ,gautam will stop and explain it to u.
He has amazing pictures of difficult roads in Leicester ,which u can click on ur phone and go through at home.
He makes all the manoeuvres super easy,my friend is driving for a year now and still struggles with parking . I ,while taking lessons instructed her using gautam’s method and she did it at the first go 🤪

I really needed a Calm and Kind instructor because of my previous not so much fun experiences,and Gautam was literally the best between the bests.
I looked forward to my lessons ,had chats ,laughs and fun while driving which took off a lot of pressure.
He also does weekend lessons solely for people who can’t absolutely manage it on weekdays.

In short i can’t recommend Gautam enough, and it’s not for his benefit-he is already famous with the learner’s community. It’s for people like me who struggled in this practical test journey, please do yourself a favour and get in contact with driving innovation 😊

I passed my driving test yesterday with 3 minors. I would like to thank Gautam Sir for his support and motivation through thick and thin. Gautam is professional, flexible and a good strategist. An exceptional instructor when it comes to teaching how to drive safely and confidently. I was fortunate enough to have a driving lesson with Sheilpa as well in his absence, that covered things which could have been missed out or were forgotten. I would highly recommend Driving Innovation to new learners.
