I have tried, many times, to get in touch to see what I owe. An error always occurs when online. Ringing them is a complete no go. This company needs to be respectful of the people they’re dealing with!!!

I had a debt with MBNA. It was a credit card for my business 2006 to 2011 it was one hell of a recession and closed the doors to the business in 2011
I cannot remember what year Drysden took over the debt but I was making payments monthly by direct debit.

Cut to 2017 and after my mom died, I moved areas I did forget to write with forwarding address but I never defaulted on my monthly DD.

2023, I applied for a flat, filled in homechoice paperwork came back declined due to ccj slapped on me in 2022.
I rang drysden and made enquiries as to why they hadn't contacted me by phone (same nos for 27 years) email (same address) and that the monthly payment was still coming out of the same bank account snd that I hadn't defaulted on the debt.

Just spoke to them again and I was told they had no contact number for me nor no email address.

So they slapped the ccj on

Is there anything I can do or someone to speak too, any advice welcome.

I had received a letter to pay a card debt. I had setup a monthly payment and also paid off a large sum earlier this month. I emailed them that the large sum I paid hasn't been reflected in the portal. its been over 2 weeks and no response. I have been trying to access the website for a few days now and its not working. I am now wondering I had been scammed.

Days before Christmas I received a lovely letter from this company explaining that debt was owed by my late mum 18 months after her death.

Receiving this letter, having to give documentation and comply with an investigation has brought on so many negative memories and experiences resulting in lack of sleep, extreme anxiety and stress.

Oh and because of this debt my mum owed from before I was born (90’s) myself and my sister have no money left from her.

What a group of awful, selfish people to have to put 2 siblings in their 20s through.

A load of complete numbskulls. Solicitors??? I don't think so...

Owed a small amount of money to a previous employer due to overpaid wages. Agreed to pay it back via this company (why my previous employer didn't ask for it directly, I'll never know, but now I'm dealing with Drydens).

Whilst actually paying them money has been easy (surprise surprise), getting any sort of satisfactory communication from them is impossible.

I have a log-in for their website, but whilst you can send them messages, you CAN NOT read their responses. You get re-directed to a stock photo of a blonde lady in an office with no reply to be found. I have mentioned this several times and have asked to have a response emailed to my personal inbox directly. A letter would also be fine. But it never is!

Any problems with this company report each solicitor from the Company (list and full details of directors are on Companies House Website each solicitor is on SRA and Law Society Website ) to the Ethics Committee of the Solicitors regulatory authority and get them struck off and barred from practicing.

Let be clear about how these scammers work. they make money by hounding harassing and bulling you into making a payment arrangement through them and adding lots of money on top of that. you will be manipulated and lied to and left worse off financially and mentally so under no circumstances let them get their teeth into you. The only way to deal with them is to go to whoever they are working for and just out right refuse to deal with Dryden Fairfax and make any arrangements you need to with them directly. You could quite literally be on the edge of a cliff ready to jump because of the manipulation and lies these have put you through and they’d push you off while steeling your wallet from your back pocket. They only care about getting money from you by any means no matter if you owe it or not and it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are they will stop at nothing even going as far as making evidence to your benefit disappear.
If enough people just refuse to deal with them, we can hurt their profit margins and hopefully loose them business so again my suggestion to anyone is to go back to the company/debt collector/etc that put these thieves on to you and just tell them you cannot and will not deal with Dryden Fairfax because they are known scammers and liars. all you need do is read the reviews on here to know that

And answer the reviews. How’s about you tell us how much you make per customer you terrify into paying more than they ever owed or can afford.????

If get a letter from these, go to the company they claim you owe money to and sort that way.
Don’t deal with this company as they don’t answer and part of the scam.

I have a restriction to title on the Land Registry of my property and wish to get it removed. The restriction was placed in 2009 by Arrow Global and I have had no communication since then. I am now applying for a re mortgage and the propective lender requires removal.
Between myself and my Solicitor we have been pursuing this for in excess of 3 months to no avail. The restriction was picked up by an IVA in 2014 and dealt with, we have given proof of this to Drydens, They imply that this is a secured debt and was not in the IVA, Our IVA administrators are saying give us proof of the final charging order, which they cannot provide. I have already lost one completion date, and am fast approaching another to deal with this matter.
Drydens are the absolute worst company to deal with and just keep repeating, without any proof, that the debt still stands. Drydens do not acknowledge our proof documents at all, they just state their side.

After I confirmed that a payment made in May 2023 was the final one, I then received letters and text to say I owed £20. After checking with them and being told it was for a missed payment, I paid the balance on June 8. Since then 3 letters and a text received stating I owe them £20 still. This is harassment in my mind and very unprofessional. I am thinking of taking them to court as I feel like I am being scammed by crooks

I've dealt with this company before and I can't understand all the negative reviews. I had a bad month once so I rang up to adjust my payment schedule and they did and were professional and not once did I feel uncomfortable. They never judged me because of this and always listened and worked with me through hard times. If you work with them and not against you will have a pleasant experience.

What happened to Mark Giles, has also happened to me - exactly the same - they've stopped taking the DD payments (which is still active). Then I received the same "failed to make payments" letter.

I have a payment plan in place to pay off money i owed.Out of the blue three weeks ago i recieved a letter from this company informing me that i have defaulted on my payments.I rang my bank first and everything was fine and still set up with the direct debit.It turns out Drysdensfaifax had not requested the payments for feb/march.How can they send me a letter accusing me of default when they havnt requested payment.Funds were more than enough to cover the payments in the bank and every other payment since the payment plan was started have been paid without fail,as would the ongoing payments would of.I have since been sent two more letters saying i had failed to make payments thus breaking the agreement!!.I tried ringing them to sort things out but no reply their end,leaving the phone ringing for one hour and four minutes ,still no reply.Dont think this is anywhere near a reasonable time time to have to wait.Seem to me their another one of these companies that are put there to harras people and cause people as many problems as possible.Not true solicitors,more like a call centre.

This company is the biggest gang of corrupt cowboys I have ever hsd dealings with. I have received a letter over a 20yr debt and they are saying they are taking me to court and are obtaining judgement. When you ring them they don't care. Worst customer care I have ever come across in 24 years. I have not received the court documents through post so how can they obtain judgement if I can't reply. Biggest scam artists I have ever came across

People writing reviews on this company Drysden Fairfax & Arrow Global are the same company time people made a stand against these two organisations, they act in appropriately these people writing to us all and making our life hell, are actually a call centre they are no more solicitors than most of us. Drysden Fairfax drove me to suicidal thoughts 12 months , they lie they bully, they make peoples lives Hell! They don’t work to help people, them and Arrow bought a debt off Orange which Orange wrote off, but these clever people knew orange was going out of business, and failed to speak to me for 14 years, but won’t move the charge. It’s time anyone who has letters from Drysden Fairfax to speak out don’t let this company do what they have done to me, I want expose Drysden Fairfax and Arrow globals of this world they collect debt imorally, have ruined my life and my kids! Drydensfairfax solicitor's customer service is very poor. I have spoken with an agent who did not show me empathy or tried to help me out. There was no customer care or consideration due to the current circumstances of inflation I am suffering badly. My mental health is disturbed because of my current financial situation. I was seeking help from Drydensfairfax.

Have been bothering for an alleged company debt from 3 years ago. Starling closed my account and defaulted it for no reason, just to get this 'out of thin air' loan back. I took them to the Ombudsman and won, they were told not to take any further action.

This Drysdale company have been sending me letters, and just keep saying 'Starling say there's no Ombudsman case'. I've told them 3 times that there was and that I've won, but they just ignore me.

They called me on my personal phone and I told them t delete my personal number and never call it again. They agreed but have called me on it since. That's a GDPR breach.

Apparently any crooks can get registered with the SRA.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. By far the most aggressive company I have ever dealt with in the past 13 years of managing my credit accounts. Sent an intent to issue a ccj to an old address with no prior warning for a debt over 12 years old, no emails or calls despite holding this information for me. When trying to deal with the outstanding debt I was forced to pay the full amount(£933) within 14 days or risk having a ccj marked against my credit file. I asked for court fees and solicitor fees to be waived as I had not received any correspondence regarding the debt until court intent was issued and was denied adding a further £140 onto the debt. I made complaints regarding this and was told they wouldnt be acted upon because they had followed the correct procedure. They then had the cheek to tell me that they wouldn't recommend me paying it off in full if it would cause financial issues... but would pursue me for the money through the courts if I didn't. Absolute joke, daylight robbery in the middle of a cost of living crisis. No shame.

Unhelpful … we are all living in a cost of living crisis. Will nog give me details of an account they said I owe money to. Have put. CCJ on my credit report. After explaining my current ongoing situation was told that they can’t help …. Pay up even after explaining that we do not have enough money to live on. I am now making a formal complaint and will be contacting the financial ombudsman 😡
